eStore Christmas Decoration Questions Answered
Since the release of the new Christmas Decorations in the eStore a few days ago, we have been getting a lot of questions from our members on how this feature works. Here are some answers that should help everyone get the most out of their Christmas Trees.
First, unlike the 2008 Christmas Ornaments where each plastic ornament came with a code that gave players a virtual copy of the ornament and two more decorations, each decoration in the 2009 collection is sold separately. The first code entered gives the player one decoration and a tree to put it on. Each code entered after that gives the player another decoration.
There are 25 decorations total in the 2009 collection. This collection includes Bases, Ornaments, Garlands, and Toppers. There was some confusion regarding an article in Webkinz World that said there would be 25 ornaments in the collection. There are actually only ten "ornaments" in the collection. The Ganz Employee who wrote that article probably meant to use the word "decorations".
If you plan on purchasing the complete collection of 25 decorations, the best way to do that is to buy the five "decoration sets" rather than buying each of the decorations individually. That way you get the complete collection for 20,000 eStore points instead of 25,000 eStore points. After the codes for 25 different decorations have been entered on one account, the player will also get a Santakinz Village Window.
And, last but not least, the decorations you purchase DO NOT go into your dock. These items exist only on your Christmas Tree. They can only be accessed by clicking on the Christmas Tree once you have placed it in your room. Then, on that screen, you can choose to display one Topper, one Base, one Garland, and five different Ornaments.
