Halloween Sneak Peek

This morning, during a mini-update to clear up the Curio shop for Deluxe, it seems that some people caught a glimpse and were able to purchase ONE of the items that will be for sale during the Halloween season. It was in the American Curio Shop from 9 AM til 10 AM. The Halloween Chilling Lanterns Lamp. This was one of the items from last year's Halloween theme and Arte had it on for 1050 KC.

A note of interest, Arte has a disclaimer on the item as being available only until the 28th of October. At this point we don't know if that October 28th note was left over from last year, or a reference to this year. Keep your eyes open for MORE great deals like this. Thanks for posting this on the FP Dixie! It's my first WW Halloween-do all halloween items only come from the Curio Shop? I hope they'll come out in the regular accounts as well as I don't have Deluxe.

I logged on just after 10 and noticed the deluxe area was back on. Too bad I wasn't just a bit earlier. Great find.

NO...all items will be available in BOTH shops. The only one that won't be is the retired item.

The retired item will not be available for sale. This looks to me like a CURRENT item.

I SO can't wait for the rest of the theme. The funny thing is..I am not a big Halloween person but for some reason when it comes around on WW I get all excited and save my kc to buy it all. lol

I personally don't enjoy Halloween myself either. Ok thats not true.... I do enjoy it because there isnt any way my boys can eat ALL of the candy by themselves.

But Ive been saving my KC just for the holiday goodies!! lol hehehe

I am TOTALLY a Halloween person! I grew up deep in the woods, and every Halloween we wondered why no trick or treaters came to our house...now that I live closer to civilization, I LOVE decking out my real house...and my Webbies house too! Thanks for this info....my deluxe cuiro shop still is not working...off to clear my cache!

Have you cleared your cache? This could be good news, they must be doing another update to add the Halloween items!

My Deluxe Curio Shop has been working just fine - but now that they worked on it, I can't see anything! Maybe they are still working on it!

This is my first Halloween in WW. I'm glad to hear that the items that will be in the Curio Shop will be available for both regular and deluxe accounts. I've been saving my KC for the holiday items. I am a Halloween person and a Christmas person! My two favorite holidays!!!! I can't wait to decorate my pets homes for those two holidays!

I do have a couple of questions.

1. Are the items sold for those two holiday's super expensive? I'm one of those people who think that Ganz over prices most of the items in the WShop! They should be a little more reasonable. I play games as often as I can to earn the money, but I do have a life outside of WW. I'm hoping that I will have enough money to buy enough items for a nice Halloween room, with some money left over for Christmas.

2. Will the Halloween items be sold only in the Curio Shop or in the WShop?

3. When will the Halloween items be available for purchase?

This little lantern is so cute! Kind of expensive, but cute! Can't wait to see the other Halloween things.

That is awesome. I think for my birthday I am going to buy myself the deluxe membership lol. Can not wait for october birthstone pup either. Halloween is my Fave Holiday. Candy!!! Got my little girl a lemur costume. She is too young to understand whats so special about halloween but soon enough she will understand, till then mommy gets her candy lol. Can not wait to get the webbies ready for halloween. Got my virtual cracker barrel all set up for thanksgiving with the fall fest items. Those little possums were busy gettin that put together. lol.
Thank you webkinz insider for all the updates, you are my life saver!!! The october webbies should be arriving any day now. YAY HOOO. Cant wait for my wolves. Had to buy 2 of them, not sure why lol.
