Peppermint Puppy PSI, Candy Cane Seeds, Affected by Glitch

Although the Webkinz Peppermint Puppy isn't scheduled for release until next week, many of our members have already been able to get their hands on this adorable doggie.  Unfortunately, their early access to this pup and it's Pet Specific Item, Candy Cane Seeds, has revealed a problem.  It appears that the graphics for the Candy Cane plant growth cycle have not been fully uploaded.  Players are reporting finding their plants replaced with blue cubes and reporting on getting locked out of their yards.

Too bad! I am sure it will be fixed very quickly and maybe the plant will grow anyway *fingers crossed* I am happpy for you that you did get the peppermint pup though. I plan on getting a couple. I need twins. LOL

I also have a pet named Wynter.

But I adopted her long before you did so if you see her...........I did not steal her name. LOL

I have seen a few around. it is a very cute name!

I love Webkinz Insider so much!!!! I thought it was only me. I went to Garden last night and I had the blue cube. And today I couldn't even get in my yard

I ordered mine from ebay. Webkinz releases some items late where I live. So if I really want a pet I always play it safe and buy from Ebay LOL

I wouldn't let my pet eat those, LOL! I hope this gets fixed-- I was going to buy the peppermint puppy!

I, too, am having problems with the candy cane plant. I was the first WI member to adopt the peppermint puppy. At first, when I planted the seed packet, all I got was a bare patch of dirt, with not even a seedling in the patch. So, figuring that the PSI hadn't been programmed yet, I removed it to my dock. I decided to plant it a few days later and the same thing happened. On my third attempt, the plant actually appeared when I planted the seeds. When I went in my garden a few days later to see how the plant had progressed, I was surprised to see a blue box where my plant should be. This has also caused problems in entering my garden as it seems to lock up my screen. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved once it's October and the programming is fixed for this item.

well how is a person to know they arent released? why would ganz send them out if they arent release?

just a little note and i hope this helps, but i had the same blue boxes on all my rectangular pink rugs from the wshop a few weeks ago and then they cleared up. I was wondering what was going on but figured it was just a programming issue and they resolved before i even called so just hang in there it will be corrected
