With yesterday's announcement that the Space Theme is retiring from the wShop to the Curio Shop, Ganz has announced on their Webkinz Newz site that the Moon Lamp will be officially retiring.  That means this item will be the only item from this theme that wiill not be returning to the Curio Shop.

I hope I have some of these around the house... I believe I do. I doubt it will be one of those "OMG you have a moon lamp?!?!?" because it's so small and dinky. Who knows.

Maybe that's why it was the retired item. Because it was too tiny to see any real detail unless you were in zoom-in mode all the time.

i think people are really shocked by this. i was expecting the retired item to be big, expensive and something that would be good for use as a "replica" item in the estore. i did love this lamp though and have a room full of them. i think there are about 20. so, for once i am stocked with a retired item. i'm sure the first and last time that will ever happen!!!!!

I have two of them, I just got them on Monday. I have two cows a white one (Happy) and a brown one (Chocolate) so I added them to their rooms. I guess they choose the lamp cause of the size and the cost. I thought it would have been the jukebox, cause it doesn't do anything.
