Ganz Confirms -- Doug the Dog Rehabilitated -- Returns to Webkinz Clubhouse Today!

After an intense rehabilitation program at Ganz Headquarters in Toronto, Doug the Dog has been cleared to re-enter the Clubhouse today, May 29, 2009! For those that aren't aware, allegations were raised that Doug was stealing extra gems from Webkinz World users yesterday. 

 

Taking no chances, authorities at Ganz decided to apprehend the suspect and brought him in for questioning.  After a few hours of interrogation, Doug confessed to stealing the gems, adding, "I knew it was wrong, but I couldn't control myself.  It was almost like someone had programmed me to do it!"

 

Ganz subjected Doug to a series of ethical tests and determined late last night that he was fully rehabilitated and ready to resume Gem Trading in the Webkinz Clubhouse.  Doug was reportedly too exhausted and opted to get a good night's rest, returning to the Clubhouse sometime today.  Keep an eye out for him in the Collector's Room in the Webkinz Clubhouse, as users around the world report that this is the only room Doug enters.  Visit the Doug Tracking Thread in our forum.

 

Thankfully, Ganz was able to recover all of the stolen gems before Doug could sell them back to Arte in the Curio Shop.  Doug has supplied Ganz with his transaction log of all the gem trades from yesterday and all gems (including the one you were supposed to give to Doug) will be returned to Webkinz World members by the end of the day on Tuesday, June 2nd.
