WI Member Discovers "May Flower" Contest on Webkinz Newz

Thank you to Webkinz Insider member splish-spash for alerting us to a new contest running on the Webkinz Newz site (www.webkinznewz.com).  He was viewing the site this afternoon when a message popped up that he had spotted a May Flower.  He filled out a form nearly identical to the Griffin Emblem Rug contest entry (click "read more" below) and received a code for a wShop Flowered Room Divider via e-mail.  splish-splash doesn't know what he did to trigger the message.  He doesn't recall seeing anything fly by.
 
There is nothing on the Webkinz Newz site to indicate that they are running a May Flower contest.  Also, all references to the Griffin Emblem Rug contest (that was scheduled to run today) have been removed from the site.

Thanks for the update! I hate to be a downer, but doesn't this seem like an attempt to make up for the disappointment of this morning's contest? I think a better solution would have been to take the time to fix the original instead of making a new one with wshop prizes.

Those are the academy prizes you get once you finish level 5 of the cooking and beauty classes.

No problem. If you have any addl. questions, feel free to PM me.

Sorry this is off topic but I wanted to answer. They are both from the Academy for passing level 5. The Grill for Cooking Class and the Beauty Station for Grooming Class. (You only get one each that you cannot mail or trade. But there is a glitch that shows 2.) If you want more info, there are great threads all about the details of the Academy. Good luck!

LOL! It does take awhile. You are only allowed one per account so they were lucky enough to have a glitch that gave them two. The are not kinzpostable either so you really do have to earn them.

BTW - taking the classes will help you earn a recess every 15 days

I wonder if this is the next contest that splish-splash stumbled upon by accident, because under the Contest tab on Webkinz News, it mentions the next one is on the weekend of May 23rd to 24th.

I think you are on to something... was wondering the same thing myself! Or maybe, the "May Flowers" were set to go when the Webkinz Day countdown clock is set to go off?

I haven't found a May flower. I'm still looking tho. Maybe it's a test to see if they fixed the rug glitch.
