Virtual Images of Webkinz Guinea Pig + First Adoption!!

Everyone on the site has been clamoring for more details on the new Webkinz Guinea Pig! It's rumored to be a "store exclusive Webkinz", which we've learned means that Ganz is shipping these only to selected retail chains for the first 60 days, after which all retailers will be able to sell them.  In this case, we're to understand that the Guinea Pig is exclusive to Justice.  We wanted to show everyone the confirmed and verified virtual images of the Webkinz Guinea Pig, complete with Gift Box, PSI (Hidey House Lounger) and PSF (Petite Pellet Palette)!

UPDATE: You may all remember what started the Guinea Pig frenzy -- one of our members, AnthonysMommy, bought a pair of Webkinz Guinea Pigs at a local Justice store! She decided to give it a try and to adopt one of the Guinea Pigs, which she named "Bean".  She was able to adopt it, however a glitch in the adoption caused her to not receive the PSI.  Congratulations to AnthonysMommy on being the first WI member to adopt the Webkinz Guinea Pig!

Oh finally! I posted pictures of the portrait and food in the original thread, but that's all that's shown up on my account so far. I'm still waiting for my gift! Looks like I was right and I'll have to call again... Thanks!

While the guinea pig is super cute and I will of course be getting one (or more) as I have 2 live ones of my own, the thing that annoys me is that the gift box has a wheel on it! Guinea pigs have incredibly easily breakable backs and should NEVER be put on a running wheel or in one of those plastic balls. Sorry Ganz, you obviously didn't do the research on this one.

I find this extremely interesting. If they ever find out which employee sold her these that person will probably get fired. Justice is NOT supposed to sell this Webkinz until the 19th, which is tomorrow. They shouldn't have even put them on the shelves.

I don't think it will go quite that far. Turns out it was Ganz who dropped the ball this time. They were scrambling to send out emails to all of the Justice stores that I imagine said something like "Oh yeah and don't sell them yet!!!" LOL

At last AnthonysMommy, you can enjoy your infamous Adoption of "Beans" the hamster. The PSI & PSF both look pretty cool, too. I like the look of the Adoption Gift with the wheel on the side and the cedar shavings coming out of the top and stuck to the bottom of the box. The Hidey House Lounger looks very comfy too! I can't wait 'til these Hamsters hit the stores in my area!
