Adoption Problems Continue in Webkinz World

We wish we had better news to bring you on this topic, but unfortunately, it looks like the adoption glitch has not been corrected in Webkinz World.  Although we have been getting a handful of reports from members who have been able to process a successful adoptions today, the majority of the reports we have been getting are from members who are totally locked out of their accounts.  Although Ganz has not yet made a public statement to let customers know what is going on, most of the customer service representatives are advising callers to not adopt any new animals right now.  Webkinz Insider member CHRISBILL had the following conversation with a Ganz customer service representative moments ago:

 

"I was adopting my second pet for the day...and I got locked out again. I called the Tech and she said they were still having problems with adoptions and DO NOT adopt any pets AT ALL [because] there will be no one in the office all weekend but try on Monday when there will be someone in the office. So if you adopt a pet after reading this you take the risk of NOT getting into your account at all over the weekend. She had to reset mine and I can't log into my account until tomorrow morning. If it gets stuck you better call today or you won't be getting in until Monday...The phone number to call is 1-866-932-5469. DO NOT push the #2 option. Push the 0 (ZERO) and keep pushing the 0 (ZERO) until you get a human."  --CHRISBILL

Thanks FIA for posting that. I really hope they see this before adopting any pets. It will save them the headache like mine 2 days in a row. LOL.

THIS IS JUST HORRIBLE...! Ganz keeps closing people out, especially all day yesterday with
maintenance until evening time! What is their problem since last year? Glitches, glitches,
glitches, and the worst Customer Servicce. They keep bringing out new kinz to adopt,
yet you take a risk now even adopting them? They also got the 2009 Wire Award for
Virtual Gaming???? If it's not one thing, it's another with Ganz. And to me, this is a brand
new problem, after one year now on playing in WWorld. I truly FEEL for all the Members
right now. To me, there is NO EXCUSE for this.

I adopted my Yorkie just a few minutes ago, and I did not have any problems.

Thank you so much CHRISBILL you have stopped my crying and tears. I did what you told me and I got a real live person. They are resetting my account and also they are resetting the Mystical Panda code and I will have to re-adopt it. The Ganz Customer service representative told me I could adopt my panda tomarrow after it has been 24 hours. Should I adopt it then or should I wait until Monday in case I have this problem again. Any way you are a life saver and truly helped me out today.

Everytime I try to go to my room it logs me out what is up with that? I adopted a Phoenix on Wednesday it kept saying the code was already used but when I logged in today she is there but I can't go to her room to open her gift.Hopefully they soon get the problems fixed!

I read this AFTER, I adopted a "Cotton Candy Bunny", and now am continualy being logged out of my account. I called the hotline and left a message, what do you think I should do ?

ok they just reset 2 of my codes and told me to go into the account an "ctear my cash" before readopting my pets tommorrow and that I will not be able to pull up my account until tommorrow. What does "clear your cash" mean?

Hi. My friend just logged in a new pet and had no problems with his account. He went to the adoption center a different way than I did. Maybe this could be the problem. When I went to log in my new pet, on the log in screen I clicked adoption center instead of just logging in so that when I got in I was right in the adoption center. My friend logged into Webkinz World first and then clicked on the adoption center. So anyway his adoption went through just fine. Just thought I would tell in case this might solve the problem.

Thanks for all of this info! When I called Ganz the first time, the recording said to send an email to the address we are NOT supposed to use (???). Called another number I found on the web and it was their main customer service, I guess, and they transferred me to a different recorded line.

The new features and rooms are great; however, I would prefer to have a system that works reliably. Seems to me the long list of glitches began after the stadium introduction. Hopefully, the issues will be resolved before tomorrow and the kids can have some fun.

I know this has nothing to do with the subject, but I was on kinzville newz and in the treetop video they said furniture made for treetop rooms will be coming soon.

I've been trying to call customer support off and on all day today in regards to the failing health glitch with the account of one of my daughters, and have gotten nothing but a busy signal. Their lack of regard for the customer, many of whom have spent hundreds of dollars on their product, is staggering. I will not continue to give this company my money.
