New Webkinz Pet of the Month Item -- Blooming Dandelion!

With an unexpected extended maintenance period, Webkinz World came back up this morning with a new Pet of the Month item! It's been some time since one has been added, so here is the Blooming Dandelion for you all to see.  The plant cycles through stages of growth when you click on it, with a smooth animation between each stage.  Here is a preview of three of the stages of growth!

cool. i might have to break down and buy a yorkie. to answer your question . buy the webkinz yorkie and register it this month and you will get your loot bag. every month there is a new pet of the month. hope this helps.

To get the Potm loot bag you need to adopt whatever pet is this months pet of the month, you must adopt it within the month if you already adopted it you don't get the loot bag but you get all the other activities

Does the flower go to seed and spread the weeds around the yard? Does this mean the Garden Yard will be covered in white once the dandelions start sprouting? Maybe it will just be among the pumpkins and strawberries. I would love to see the little seeds float through the air. Dr. Quack will have to start selling allergy medicine.

That was my first thought, too.

I wonder if they'll next release lawn fertilizer/weed killer akin to a webkinz version of Weed 'N Feed?

Wierd that they would have a weed but looks cool. I just got a Yorkie for daughter for her to get the sub (has all the others)--now I guess it is only a 50/50 shot between the sub and dandelion....

Okay, this is one of those good news - bad news things for me. The good news is we got a new Pet of the Month item that is animated and really different. The bad news is most of us spend a lot of time trying to get rid of dandelions in our gardens and lawns (Lol). The thought of a giant growing dandelion in my yard, even if it is fenced in is kind of terrifying to most of us experienced gardeners (you do realize I'm just poking fun, don't you?) I think I would have preferred something a little tamer like a petunia or a zinnia plant! But, I do appreciate the fact that Ganz gave us a new POM item!
