Curio Shop

 

Are you a fan of the Halloween Theme from 2010? Then you are in luck because the Cursed Cradle made an appearance in the Curio Shop at 1am KT on September 15th. Though the Halloween Theme is not officially released in the W Shop yet, looks like Arte is ready to accept your sales in the mean time. Does this mean the Halloween Theme will soon be released for everyone to buy? If you can't wait for the W Shop to release it and want to know what other items he will be offering throughout the day, the  RARE Tracking thread will keep you updated. Make sure to haunt the Curio Shop this season, for cursedly spooky sales. Prices may be monstrously inflated as much as 20%, or wickedly reduced by as much as 40% off, isn't that scary, but fun? Arte will be the Jack 'o All Sales this spooky season with his head start. Enjoy the spooktacular season!

Last month, several new items for the Pop Diva Condo Theme were added to Webkinz World:  KinzCash Side Table, High Note Lamp, Top Record Place Setting, and Pop Diva Welcome Mat.  Although all four items were maked as Arte's Favorites, indicating that they could only be purchased in the Curio Shop, one of the items, the Pop Diva Welcome Mat, was also available for sale in the Decorations section of the wShop.

 

As of yesterday's site maintenance, the Pop Diva Welcome Mat can no longer be purchased in the wShop.  If you want to pick up this rug for your Webkinz house, you'll need to go shopping in the Curio Shop.  For help figuring out when Arte is going to have one of his special items for sale, check out the Curio Shop Tracking thread, HERE.

Since discovering yesterday that we can add the hosts a few people have been diligently sending letters and gifts to them.

Now they have seen a return of letters as well as small items from the hosts of Webkinz World.

 

After sending 8 letters, you receive a Pen Pal Badge.

Thank you to Webkinz Insider Member Jenn, we can see what some of the gifts are. So far she has gotten letters back from some of the hosts and three gifts were included.

The Summer Solstice is just around the corner, and to celebrate, Ganz is holding a Click-to-Win event on the Webkinz Newz site.  On Tuesday, June 21, keep your eyes peeled for a floating Orange Table.  Click on it, and you'll be rewarded with an Orange Table and a Pineapple Lamp for your account.  These two items are part of the Farm Theme that is available in the Curio Shop.

All of you baseball fans out there should be happy to hear that the Baseball Theme has returned to the Curio Shop.  This theme, which was removed from the wShop in April 2011, had recently only been available as extra items in Deluxe gift boxes.  Now it is avaialble for everyone to purchase, if they can find it for sale.

 

Since these items are "Curio Sho Only" (aka "Arte's Favorites"), after today we will not be posting their appearances in the Rare Notice at the top of the forum, but we will continue to track them in in the Rare & CSO section of our forum.  If you're hunting for a specific baseball item, check that section for the latest information.
