Ganz Offers Sneak Peek at New Clubhouse Classroom Room

Thank you to Webkinz Insider member windcolors for letting us know that Ganz is going to be adding a new room to the Webkinz World Clubhouse very soon.  She found this picture on a Ganz' social media page yesterday afternoon.  Could this be one of the new Role Playing rooms Ganz hinted at last year, kind of like the Restaurant?  That book in the top-right corner has our members wondering.  As soon as any more information is revealed, we will bring it to you here.

Gallery of Santakinz Pictures Returns for Christmas 2011

Santakinz has returned to Webkinz World!  Now is the time to take your Webkinz to the Clubhouse to sit on Santakinz' lab and to tell him what they want for Christmas.  As many of you know, after your Webkinz returns home, he/she will receive a message via KinzPost that contains a picture of your pet sitting on Santakinz' lap.  
 
In 2009 and 2010, Webkinz Insider members collected these pictures to create the Gallery of Santakinz Pictures.  This gallery contains a picture of every pet that exists in Webkinz World sitting on Santakinz' lap.  Well, at least it did at the end of last year.  Many, many Webkinz were added to Webkinz World in 2011, and we need YOUR HELP to fill in the gallery.   
 
Before you go to visit Santakinz, please take a moment to review the pictures in the gallery, HERE.  If you own a pet that is not pictured, please take that pet to the Clubhouse.  Then, when you receive the picture by KinzPost, take a screen shot for the gallery.  Remember, only one pet per account is allowed to go see Santakinz, so choose your pet carefully.

Ms. Birdy Returns to the Clubhouse for Christmas Countdown 2011 *UPDATE*

Ms. Birdy has returned to Webkinz World, and to the delight of players everywhere, she is super easy to find!  Instead of wandering around the Clubhouse, jumping from room to room, she stays put in the Santakinz Room, and she is there all day long.  To collect your prize, just go to the Santakinz Room and click on her.  
 
Remember, in order to collect all of Ms. Birdy's prizes, you need to click on her once a day for the next twelve days.  If you miss a day, you can't go back and get that prize, unless you spend points at the Ganz eStore.  To learn more about the Countdown to Christmas 2011, please visit the Webkinz Insider WIki.
 
Players who have Deluxe accounts but who have not adopted a new Webkinz in the past twelve months can't participate.  When they click on Ms. Birdy a message pops up saying they are not allowed to get a gift.  Since Deluxe accounts are supposed to have full access to Webkinz World, this appears to be a glitch.
 
Several of our members with Asian accounts discovered the glitch early on Tuesday, and they were able to get in contact with Ganz Customer Service to report the problem.  Although there has not been any official word from Ganz, the word from several customer service representatives is that the programmers are looking into the problem and they hope it will be corrected soon.
 
UPDATE:  The glitch has been fixed!  Now, if you have a Deluxe account that has not adopted a pet in the past 12 months, you can get gifts from Ms. Birdy.  If you missed out on the gift from day one due to this glitch, please contact Ganz to let them know.  Reports from our members are that the Customer Service Reps are giving players 2000 eStore points so that the players can purchase the missing gift.  To contact Ganz, please click HERE.

Ms. Birdy Returns for Webkinz Christmas Countdown on December 14!

Webkinz Newz has just announced that Ms Birdy will be returning to the Webkinz Clubhouse for the Christmas Countdown on Wednesday December 14.
 
In this much anticipated event, Ms. Birdy can be found in the Clubhouse every day for the 12 days leading to Christmas. Each day she will give you a different prize. This will be the third year for this event.  Mark your calendars! You don't want to miss the first day of this exciting event.
 
In what appears to be a departure from the way that it worked in previous years, it looks like Ms. Birdy will be easier to find this year, since Webkinz Newz states that she will appear only in the Santakinz Room. In previous years, Ms. Birdy was a bit elusive and hard to find. Our Webkinz Insider members had to form Tracking Threads to help each other to find her.

Santakinz is in the Clubhouse - Updated

This wonderful announcement about Santakinz is in the Clubhouse is what Asian Accounts are greeted with this morning. When members click the the GO NOW! they are left with not seeing any Santakinz Rooms unfortunately. In the past there has been a room designated for visiting Santakinz and your webkinz can get their picture taken with him. To see the gallery of Santakinz pictures, click HERE
 
Let's hope when the US accounts roll around to December 1st, that the Santakinz room appears. Until then we can make sure that our webkinz look good for their Santakinz photo by being Healthy, Happy and not Hungry. Who wants to sit on Santakinz' lap with a growling stomach?
 
UPDATE: As of Midnight December 1st, the Santakinz room is now available in the Clubhouse. You get to sit on Santakinz lap and tell him what you would like. You have until Christmas Eve to make your wish.

Glitch Affects Clubhouse Event, Ghost Refuses to Hand Out Candy *UPDATE*

webkinz cheatsBased on member reports, there appears to be a glitch affecting the Clubhouse Ghost.  Last night, players had mixed results on how many pieces of candy they could collect each time they saw the ghost.  This morning, no players are able to collect any candy at all, even if it is their first time clicking.  Some players are getting a message that they need to wait one hour.  Other players are getting a message that they need to wait three hours.  Members attempting to contact Ganz to report the problem are getting a busy signal.  
 
Although Ganz has not made any sort of official announcement, it seems likely that their programmers are trying to get things working again.  We will keep an eye on things and let you know as soon as there has been any change in the Trick or Treat situation.
 
 
UPDATE (11:15am, ET):  Some players have now gotten through to Ganz on the phone.  Reportedly, the customer service reps are indicating that the programmers are working on the problem and hope to have the event fixed by Noon.
 
UPDATE (12:30pm, ET):  Ganz just released the following statement:  FYI - There are some technical issues with the Ghost handing out candy in the Clubhouse. Our technical team is currently investigating.
 
UPDATE (2:15pm, ET):  Reports are now flooding in that the Ghost is once again handing out candy!  Some players are able to get multiple pieces of candy per visit from the Ghost.  Other players are only able to get one piece of candy at a time.  It appears that the programmers still have some work to do.

The Trick or Treat Ghost Has Returned to the Clubhouse!

 webkinz cheatsThank you to Webkinz Insider member Lambchop77 for letting us know that the Clubhouse Ghost has returned to Webkinz World.  As many of you know, the Ghost is what is known as a "Clubhouse Clicker."  He wanders through the Clubhouse and players who click on him are rewarded with a piece of candy.  
 
Players who complete a twelve-piece collection of candy are rewarded with a Jack O'Lantern that they can "carve" and display in their Webkinz' rooms.  It appears that players can also purchase the candy in the Ganz eStore.  The Clubhouse Ghost first appeared in 2009.  In 2010 he was replaced with Spooky the Mazin' Hamster.  To learn more about this year's event, please check out the Webkinz Insider WIki, HERE.
 
In previous years, players have had to wait an hour or more between collecting pieces of candy.  So far this evening, players are reporting being able to collect several pieces of candy during a single appearance of the ghost.  Many Webkinz Insider members have already completed their collections! Although this event was anticipated, it has not yet been officially announced by Ganz.  Hopefully they will reveal the exact details of this year's event soon.
 
 
UPDATE (Thursday, 1:05am, ET):  Some players clicking on the Ghost are now reporting getting a message that one piece of candy can be collected every three hours.  Also, the Kinzville Times has been updated with an article about this event.

Jessie can't be missed. The Jessie Mix Up game is temporarily replacing the Where's Wacky game in the arcade. One tries to match the pieces to continue to the next level.
In the Clubhouse, Jessie has her own room to go visit. This appears to be the same concept as the previous Judy Moody Room that appeared back in May.
If you are wondering, Who's Jessie? Jessie is a new Disney Channel Show.

All Judy Moody Prize Items Can Now be KinzPosted

webkinz cheatsDuring this morning's system maintenance, Ganz made an interesting change to several items in Webkinz World.  The Lime Green Dresser, Bulletin Board on Wall (now called "Bulletin Board"), and the Swirly Bean Rug from the Judy Moody Movie Promotion can now be traded and sent by KinzPost.  The KinzCash value of each item has also been increased.  And, the Made in the Shade Tank that was added to PJ's KinzStyle Outlet during the last maintenance can now be traded and sent by KinzPost.

Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer Room No Longer in the Clubhouse
