Valentines Themed Click-to-Win on Webkinz Newz

A new click-to-win starts tomorrow on Webkinz Newz. This Valentine themed click-to-win will run from February 2nd, 2102 until February 14th, 2012. Search Webkinz Newz for the special heart (shown on left), click on it, fill in the required fields and an exclusive Valentine's Day themed prize will be added to your Webkinz World account. The prizes include Heart Warming Wall Art, Be Mine Sneakers, the Love Topiary and Love Chocolate.
 
Limit of one prize per Webkinz World account per day. Each day lasts from 12:00 am EST until 11:59 pm EST. The heart will not be floating on February 4th or 11th.

Webkinz Newz Announces New Floaty-Clicky Events for November! *UPDATE*

Webkinz Newz is announcing several new floaty-clicky events for the month of November, featuring hard-to-get clothing as prizes.
 
On November 4, 7, 9, 14 and 16, watch for a floating Roberta's head on any page of Webkinz Newz. Click on it, fill out the required fields and one of the above random clothing prizes will be deposited in your Webkinz World account: Cave Explorer Bottom, Cave Explorer Hat, Cave Explorer Shoes, Cave Explorer Top, Cloud Adventure Dress, Clout Adventure Hat, Cloud Adventure Shoes, Diving Bell Bottom, Diving Bell Flippers, Diving Bell Helmet, Diving Bell Top. 
 
 
 
On November 1, 10 and 21, look for MC Tusky floating on the Webkinz Newz pages. This is the Walrus from the Pet Of The Month video. Click on him and you will be awarded the Too Cool Ball Cap!

Webkinz Newz Floating Snowflake Contest *UPDATE*

 Thanks to our forum members for alerting us to a new WebkinzNewz click-to-win promotion. This click-to-win is another Winterfest themed contest, which awards 500 Kinz Cash each day if you click on the snowflake, and then fill out the contest form.
 
 
You can earn the kinz cash once per day by clicking on a snowflake between 12:00am and 11:59pm Kinztime.   It is unknown at this point how long the contest will run.
 
*UPDATE*:  Cash-strapped members will be happy to know that this Snowflake floaty-clicky is back on Webkinz Newz. Just click on the floating flake, fill in the form and 500 kc will be added to your account! The end-date for this event is still unknown.

Webkinz Winterfest Extended, Winterfest Challenge and Party Pack Added!

Due to the downtime earlier this week, when both Webkinz World and Webkinz Newz were offline, Gans has decided to extend the duration of Winterfest. Originally it was supposed to end this Friday January 13; but now Winterfest will continue on both Saturday and Sunday, ending on the evening of Sunday January 15. On both days, you will be allowed to click on a total of 10 snowflakes flying across your Webkinz World screen, to win a variety of awesome prizes.
 
Make sure to log into your Webkinz World accounts on either Saturday or Sunday, since a Winterfest Party Pack will be awarded on login. This will replace the Christmas Party Pack which had been previously promised but was malfunctioning.
 
This coming weekend will also see a new Challenge added to the series, the Winterfest Challenge. The prize for this event will be the Arctic Tundra Flooring and Arctic Tundra Wallpaper. Learn more about this new Challenge in our WIKI.

There is a new click-to-win, the Bubble Bath Click-To-Win on the Ganz Parent Club site. From January 7, 2012 at 12:00AM until January 14, 2012 at 11:59PM search the Ganz Parent Club for the Ad pictured below. When you find the ad, click on it, fill in the applicable fields and a prize will be added to your webkinz account.
 
All the prizes for this contest are Bubble Bath items. Potential prizes are: The Clawfoot Bathtub, the Football Tub, the Funky Girl Bathtub, the High Tech Bathtub, the Pirate's Rub-a-Dub Washtub, the Porcelain Bathtub, theSea Blue Bathtub, the Sea Blue Bathtub, the Tin Bucket Tub and the Luxury Hot Tub. It's Time For Winterfest In Webkinz World!

The snowflakes have started flying in Asian Time Zone Accounts of Webkinz World (be watching for them on all accounts on January 7th).  Currently reports indicate that snowflakes arrive on 5 minute intervals and that you can click-to-win up to 10 prizes per day!
 
As previously previewed, Winterfest Pyjama Pants and Snowy Face Stickers have made their debut as items that you can receive by clicking the snowflakes.  Also available as new prizes are Snow Globe Hat, Snow Angel Cookie, and Winterfest Icicle Popsicle.
 
Don't forget to check out the Winterfest event on the Webkinz Newz site.  There you'll get the chance to earn even more fantastic prizes!

Winterfest arrives in Webkinz World January 7th

 Ganz has revealed the official start date for Winterfest 2012, the snowflakes will be arriving in Webkinz World on January 7th. This annual Webkinz Event features flying snowflakes which players click-to-win fabulous winter themed prizes.  Last year's prizes included: the Icicle Wind Chime, Magic W Toque, Peppermint Hot Chocolate, Potted Ice Flower, Roasted Chestnuts, Snow Cone, Winterfest Hoodie, Winterfest Window, and Wool Scarf Jacket.
 
The only prize confirmed for Winterfest 2012 are the Winterfest Pajama Bottoms, shown above, and was the first preview to be featured on Webkinznewz.com.  Further information and sneek peaks at additonal Winterfest items will be arriving on Webkinznewz, so stay tuned!

Ms. Birdy Returns to the Clubhouse for Christmas Countdown 2011 *UPDATE*

Ms. Birdy has returned to Webkinz World, and to the delight of players everywhere, she is super easy to find!  Instead of wandering around the Clubhouse, jumping from room to room, she stays put in the Santakinz Room, and she is there all day long.  To collect your prize, just go to the Santakinz Room and click on her.  
 
Remember, in order to collect all of Ms. Birdy's prizes, you need to click on her once a day for the next twelve days.  If you miss a day, you can't go back and get that prize, unless you spend points at the Ganz eStore.  To learn more about the Countdown to Christmas 2011, please visit the Webkinz Insider WIki.
 
Players who have Deluxe accounts but who have not adopted a new Webkinz in the past twelve months can't participate.  When they click on Ms. Birdy a message pops up saying they are not allowed to get a gift.  Since Deluxe accounts are supposed to have full access to Webkinz World, this appears to be a glitch.
 
Several of our members with Asian accounts discovered the glitch early on Tuesday, and they were able to get in contact with Ganz Customer Service to report the problem.  Although there has not been any official word from Ganz, the word from several customer service representatives is that the programmers are looking into the problem and they hope it will be corrected soon.
 
UPDATE:  The glitch has been fixed!  Now, if you have a Deluxe account that has not adopted a pet in the past 12 months, you can get gifts from Ms. Birdy.  If you missed out on the gift from day one due to this glitch, please contact Ganz to let them know.  Reports from our members are that the Customer Service Reps are giving players 2000 eStore points so that the players can purchase the missing gift.  To contact Ganz, please click HERE.

Webkinz Insider Member is First Known Player to Complete Nafaria Collection

Congratulations to Webkinz Insider member suzette424 on being the first known player to collect all twenty of the prizes in the Nafaria Star Trading feature!  She was able to trade for the final prize early this morning.  suzette424 found Nafaria and attempted to trade with her all 41 days this event has been running.  
 
As an additional reward she also received a MyPage Badge called Nafaria's Little Helper.  Above you can see a picture of the room she created using the prizes from this event, as well as some other items.
