Webkinz World Update -- Clubhouse Emoticons, Supermodelz Back in Tournament

There have been many new things introduced into Webkinz World this morning, as a lot of our members are discovering and reporting. Thanks to all of our eyes and ears :)
 
One of the new features that have been introduced is a full explanation of how Deluxe accounts work. The Guide is located in the Front Page Index. Under the Deluxe heading is a secondary tab that explains pet adoptons and the benefits of more pets.
 
One of the theories we have long held to is that we would receive a Curio Shop Rare item from time to time in The Bonus Blue box and now, Ganz has formally acknowledged this.
 
Aside from this, we are seeing New Chat emoticons in the Kinzchat and Kinzchat Plus. Great new ways to express yourself.
 
And, we are pleased to report that Webkinz Supermodelz has returned to the Tournament area.

Webkinz Deluxe Membership June Gifts Arrive in Asian Accounts!

As expected, the Webkinz Deluxe Membership gift for June is the "Pretty Prom Dress", shown below thanks to MAMA5517 from our forum.  As we reported a week ago, when we gave a preview of the Pretty Prom Dress, Ganz has changed their policy as to when the Deluxe Membership Gifts are awarded.  While they weren't awarded on June 1st, when Asian accounts flipped to June 2nd, they were awarded the Deluxe Membership! This is a much less-confusing policy than before, as all members are scheduled to receive the gifts on the same date!

June 1st Events in Webkinz World

June 1st is just around the corner, and there are a lot of things scheduled to happen in Webkinz World on Monday:
 
  • Pet of the Month Ribbons - On the 1st and 15th of every month, floating Pet of the Month Ribbons come to Webkinz World.  Click on a ribbon to get a chocolate version to feed to your Webkinz.
  • Pink Pony POTM - It's a new month, and there's a new Pet of the Month.  For June it's the Webkinz Pink Pony.  Adopt a new Webkinz Pink Pony any day in June to receive a special POTM gift and to participate in special POTM activities.
  • Deluxe Membership Gifts - Those of you who have signed up for a Deluxe Membership will receive a new Deluxe Gift Box in June.  June's special clothing item is expected to be a Pretty Prom Dress.  According to Ganz' customer service representatives, the programming for the boxes has been changed, and the boxes will all be awarded on the first of the month.
  • Caring Valley Tree - There's a new tree coming to the Caring Valley.  Members entering the Caring Valley code off of specially tagged Caring Valley Webkinz, and planting the required saplings in June, will receive a Magic Maple Tree they can customize and display in their Webkinz' yards.
  • Pearl Pup - The Pearl Pup is scheduled to debut at the Webkinz eStore on Monday.  This new Birthstone Webkinz will be available at the eStore every day in June.

Doug the Dog formally introduced to Webkinz World

During the course of the night we have had an unscheduled maintenance which has brought about a few changes. If you are a Deluxe Member, you will receive a Deluxe Member badge for your widgets.
 
 
 
The Trading Card Challenge has been re-introduced into the Tournament Arena and On the front page we see a picture of Arte's Best Friend, Doug the dog.

WI Member Discovers Future Webkinz Deluxe Member Gift!

Thanks to Zeb from our Webkinz Forum, who clicked and examined the "Go Deluxe" video that appeared on one of the side bars in Webkinz World, we have an idea of what a future Deluxe Membership gift may be down the road.

If you look closely at the image, which was numbered by Zeb, #1 & #2 were the April and May Deluxe Membership gifts, #3 is the expected June gift and #4 has not yet been seen in Webkinz World!

June Deluxe Membership Clothing Item Announced: Pretty Prom Dress

Each month, members with Deluxe Memberships recieve a Gift Box that contains, among other things, a special clothing item.  For April, it was the "Deluxe Racing Helmet".  For May, it was the "Deluxe Racing Jacket".  We now know that for June it will be the "Pretty Prom Dress".
 
Many of our members have heard from Customer Service Reps that the Monthly Gifts for June will all be awarded on the 1st of the month, instead of on each account's monthly anniversary, as it was done for May.  Ganz has not made an official statement regarding this change, so at this point, we do not have any verification that the programming has been changed.

Ganz Announces June Birthstone Pet

The Birthstone Pet for June will be the Pearl Pup.  It will be available in the eStore throughout the month of June.  The Pearl Pup comes with a Pearl Pup Pearl Box, which contains the Lustrous Pearl Sideboard and Pearl Placesetting and its PSF is Deep Pan Pearl Pizza.  Remember you have the until 31 May to get your May's birthstone pet, the Emerald Lab.

Ganz to Start Awarding Deluxe Membership Prizes on the First of Each Month

webkinz cheatsAs you all know, earlier this month there was confusion regarding the new Webkinz Deluxe Memberships.  Although Ganz hadn't specified, most customers thought that the monthly prizes and points would be awarded on the first of each month.  We quickly learned that the prizes and points would actually be awarded on the account's monthly anniversary, but that the programming might be changed.  WI member crazygirl024 brings is this latest information.  
 
 "I just got off the phone with a very helpful CS Representative from the estore. I called because I did not receive my estore points on time. She told me that this month all points are awarded up to 2 days late. But, The GOOD news is that Starting JUNE 1 All Deluxe members will recieve their gift's and points on the First day of every month. I think this is Great news! So now everyone will receive them on the same day. I'm sure alot of people will be as happy as I am about this."  --crazygirl024
