Congratulations to Webkinz Insider member, PoliceProperty for adopting the new Baby Penguin to their account.
 
Pictured here is Puddles with her new playpen. The baby penguin is a December release pet, it's Pet special Item is a  Polar playpen that is actually a bed to sleep in and the Baby Penguin's pet special food is Salt Water slushy, it looks like a sippy cup.

Ganz has announced that a Webkinz Ginger Cat will be joining the Portuguese Water Dog and Triceratops in Webkinz World in January 2010.

Webkinz News has announced another new pet release for January of 2010. This is the Portuguese Water Dog. The Portuguese Waterdog's Pets specific item is a Heated Hound Hot Tub, it's food is Barkalhau.

Ganz Announces "Webkinz Turkey on Holiday" Contest

Ganz has announced that they will be holding a new contest on the Webkinz Newz site this weekend.  For this contest, they want pictures and drawings of the "Webkinz Turkey on holiday".  They want to know what adventure you would send your Turkey on during Thanksgiving.  
 
Winners will be selected from the "silliest or most unique images".  Five lucky winners will each receive a High End Stainless Steel Stove, High End Counter, High End Kitchen Sink, High End Sandwich Maker, and a High End Fridge, all items from the Ganz eStore.

Ask the Creative Director Contest Winners Announced + Newz on the Kinzville Park

Ganz has announced the winning questions in the Ask the Creative Director Contest. 10 winners received the Director's Chair and a Colossal Movie Screen. These Chairs are extremely rare as there were only 2 chairs in existence prior to the contest.  To read the Questions and the Answers, click HERE The Creative Director also made a statement about the Kinzville Park:
 
"As for the Kinzville Park that so many of you asked about, we have big plans for this new area. Unfortunately when we first launched the park, its performance was not good enough. As the park got more full, issues would occur, and we felt strongly that we needed to take it down to fix. Since then we have made a number of really great improvements, but it still has a way to go. The park is actually the largest addition we’ve done to Webkinz World in some time and will give us a lot more ability to allow members to interact with many of the great characters we’ve created for Webkinz World. You’ve all seen Doug the Dog and our Halloween Ghost in the Clubhouse, and you’ll soon see another familiar face there. We plan to take this idea even further in the park. We’ve already announced that you’ll be able to meet Mr. Moo (of the candy bar fame) in the park and we have some new characters that you’ll be able to meet as well, with new challenges that you’ll be able to do right in the park itself (no Gem Hunting required). We’re working hard on getting the park back open so you can see it for yourself. Continue to watch webkinznewz.com for the latest park information.

Ganz Announces Spotted Sea Monster Contest

Just yesterday, we were told about the upcoming eStore pet, the Spotted Sea Monster. Today, Ganz announced the latest contest for this eStore pet. For this contest, they want to know what secret the Spotted Sea Monster is keeping.
 
Five entries will be chosen. For official rules on the Spotted Sea Monster Contest, click HERE. The contest runs from November 14th through November 15th.

Daisy Tortoise Pet Special Item (PSI) and Pet Special Food (PSF) Revealed

Ganz has revealed that the Pet Specific Item (PSI) for the Daisy Tortoise is going to be the Daisy Driver, and the Pet Special Food (PSF) is going to be Delicious Daisy Danish.  Webkinz Newz describes the Daisy Tortoise as follows:  "This adorable tortoise has gentle eyes, rosy cheeks, and jellybean colored paws."
 
 
The Daisy Turtle is scheduled for a December release.
