Mazin' Hamsters

Kinzville is a great place for your pets to live! There are so many places to go and things to do! Have you ever been to the Hamster Hamlet? Maybe you have always wanted to visit Zumwhere! These are just two of the areas in Webkinz World that require a feature code to unlock the section for play. Webkinz Insider members will be happy to learn that Webkinz Newz is offering a  30 Days of Daily Draws event and will be awarding ten prizes a day for those thirty days.

 

Beginning on April 14th and continuing until May 13th, the ten random daily lucky winners will each receive a feature code for a virtual prize which will unlock an area of Webkinz World! To participate in the 30 Days of Daily Draws event, Webkinz Insider members need only to visit the Contest page on WKN and answer the Top Ten Question of the day!

The virtual prizes to be randomly awarded during this event include Kinz Klips, Series 1 and 2 Charms, Figurines, Zums and even Mazin' Hamsters! The schedule of events can be found on WKN.

Last week a mystery message started popping up when Webkinz players entered the Mazin' Hamster Hamlet.  The message reminds players to "talk to Tinker and see what he's working on."  Unfortunately, there is no indication who Tinker is, and we have not had any reports of players being able to find him.

It might be too early for you to think about your Holiday shopping, but Ganz is already gearing up for the rush.  Today they announced that a new seasonal pet will begin hitting store shelves in October 2011, the Webkinz Winter Fawn.  This adorable pet will be joined by a few returning seasonal Webkinz products, the Holiday Reindeer KinzKlip, Nick the Mazin' Hamster, and the red KinzStyle Santa Suit.

The Dead End Dangers maze set has returned to the Mazin' Hamster section of Webkinz World.  If you missed out on earning the trophy the first time around, you now have another chance.  This set was first added to Webkinz World in July 2010, removed in April 2011, and, now after having some "renovations", the set is back.

Sometime this week Ganz estimates that the millionth Mazin' Hamster will be adopted in Webkinz World.  To celebrate, they're holding a very special promotion.  The person who adopts the millionth Hamster will receive a very special code by KinzPost.  When entered in the Code Shop, it will award that player all of the Mazin' Hamsters ever created.  That's twenty-seven different pets!  Good luck to all of our members.
