Acorn Event Running all through September

It's that time again!! It's September and it's time to gather those Acorns for the long winter ahead! Every day in September we will be collecting acorns from our friends. Go to your Kinzville map and grab that Free Acorn FIRST (Two if you are Deluxe) then request from your friends. You will be able to get 5 more from your friends and also there is one floating around Webkinz Newz. There is no limit on the turns you take getting the items, just make sure you give yourself enough time to finish the collection. There are some really nice items this year. Wacky Zingoz Celebration coming August 1-11th

It's time to Get your Wacky On!! Wacky Celebration will run August 1st to 11th. There are great new prizes and fun activities the whole month, but it all begins with Wacky Celebration! Wacky Milkshakes will be floating in Webkinz World (2 for Free players, 5 for regulars and 8 for Deluxe) to feed your pet for a chance to win the grand prize, a Wacky Bumper Car! There will also be an EXTRA milkshake you can get from the Wacky Waving balloon in the Clubhouse room. According to Podkinz episode #124, the prize will be much easier to get than the Polarberry and Goo Goo Berry seeds from the Berry Fest. Also, during this time Wacky Zingoz will be having their annual 600+ trophy event. This is the trophy that will give you that Zingoz Celebration Wacky Thrills badge if you get 3 trophies during the event. Finally, there will be 4 brand new items from WackYer Zingoz when you reach 11500. A Zangoz Knapsack, Wacky Headphones, WackyER Standee or a Wacky Rug. It's Time For Winterfest In Webkinz World!

The snowflakes have started flying in Asian Time Zone Accounts of Webkinz World (be watching for them on all accounts on January 7th).  Currently reports indicate that snowflakes arrive on 5 minute intervals and that you can click-to-win up to 10 prizes per day!
 
As previously previewed, Winterfest Pyjama Pants and Snowy Face Stickers have made their debut as items that you can receive by clicking the snowflakes.  Also available as new prizes are Snow Globe Hat, Snow Angel Cookie, and Winterfest Icicle Popsicle.

Trader Information: Fruity Punch Pool is NOT a Pool *UPDATE*

webkinz cheatsFor the past two months we have been getting scattered reports here on Webkinz Insider from members who have been tricked in the Clubhouse by players trading the Fruity Punch Pool.  As most of you know, this item is not a pool at all, and it is not very valuable.  It is a decorative punch bowl that is a common prize, easily earned by watching a video on the Webkinz Newz.
 
Unfortunately, there are players out there in Webkinz World who take advantage of items like this to scam their fellow traders.  The best way players can protect themselves against tricks like this is to know what the items they're trading for are, and how much they are worth.  The fastest and easiest way to do this is to use the Webkinz Insider Gift Exchange Value Guide (WIGEV) as a reference.  Have the guide open in a second window while you are trading, and you'll never be scammed again.  
 
UPDATE (June 8):  Ganz has corrected the name of this item!  It is now called "Fruity Punch Bowl".

Webkinz Newz Item Values Are Not "Trade" Values

We here at Webkinz Insider have noticed that questions are starting to pop up about the "values" Ganz has listed in their "Kinzapedia" Item List.  Many of you want to know why items that are super rare, such as the 2005 Halloween Hat, have such low values.  The answer is that Ganz' values simply reflect how much an item can be sold to the wShop for.  They DO NOT reflect the values most players would assign to these items when trading.
