Glitch News

 

We have been getting a lot of reports today from members who are noticing a error in the Webkinz World newspaper.  The story says that the Haunted Hickory is the Enchanted Tree for November.  The Haunted Hickory is actually the tree for October.  At this point, we do not know the name of November's tree.

 

If you have a Caring Valley code to enter for this month, and you want to get the Haunted Hickory, you can go ahead and enter your code.  Despite the error in the newspaper, our members are reporting that the Haunted Hickory design process is working perfectly and that the trees look great!  Remember, it's the month in which you enter your code and plant your saplings that determines which tree you get, not the plushie the tag comes from.

 

 

As many of you know, one of the features of having a Deluxe Membership in Webkinz World is that it is not necessary to adopt a new Webkinz pet to extend the expiration date of an account.  In the "Full List of Deluxe Benefits" Ganz states "Account won't expire while Deluxe account active".

 

Unfortunately, there appears to be a glitch with this feature.  This morning, we have received a number of reports from our members that accounts with Deluxe memberships have expired suddenly, and without warning, despite having several months left on their subscription.  Players affected by this glitch are logging on to participate in today's Fall Fest and other events and are being met with a message that their accounts have expired and that they will need to adopt a new pet to continue playing.

 

It appears that this glitch only affects accounts that have a Deluxe Membership and have not adopted a new Webkinz in the past twelve months.  Hopefully Ganz will resolve this problem soon.

When Webkinz Insider member marthaaa spotted a new Bratty Zum, Zehe today, her Field Guide did not update to show Zehe in her collection - the spot where Zehe was supposed to show in her Bratty Zums page was only blinking with stars.  After logging off and logging back in Zehe still did not appear.

 

Marthaaa also states that once you collect 100 Red Zummies you're not awarded any more Red Zummies, but she received 2 Zummies (1 Green and 1 Yellow).

We hope that the Zehe will show up in her collection soon.

A few members on our Webkinz Insider forum are reporting that recently when receiving 3 Wells in the centre for the Arcade Game Wishing Well, they are getting logged off their Webkinz World accounts and they cannot choose their Exclusive Prize.

 

 

There have also been reports that receiving the big 500 Kinz Cash prize on the Wheel of Wow (WOW) logs you off your account as well.

 

We hope that both these glitches will be fixed soon.

 

Thank you to Webkinz Insider member christiwr for confirming that the Wishing Well glitch is fixed and has provided us with an image below.  She received  3 Wells in the middle today and got to choose her prize (a Moon Rover).

 

 

We have been receiving reports from across our forum this week of a glitch affecting the Caring Valley trees for September.  As most of you know, players entering the feature codes off of special Caring Valley tags and planting the required number of saplings get one special tree that they can decorate and place in their yard online.  

 

For the month of September, the special tree is supposed to be the Fantastic Fruit Tree (the tree on the left).  Unfortunately we have been getting a lot of reports are that as soon as the Fantastic Fruit Trees are placed in a yard they turn into Delicious Deciduous trees (the tree on the right).  The Delicious Deciduous was the special tree for the month of July.  Some members have reported having the correct tree show up in their yards.  At this point, we are not certain why some accounts are affected and others aren't.

 

If you have created your Fantastic Fruit Tree and had it turn into a Delicious Deciduous, you may need to contact Ganz directly to get your tree sorted out.  Ganz can be contacted online at their Customer Support page or by telephone at 1-866-932-5469.
