Yes, to honour St. Patrick's Day, there are Shamrocks floating inWebkinz World! Be sure to log into your Webkinz World account from March 1st until March 9th, 2014, to search for the floating Shamrock!
 
If you are lucky enough to spot a floating Shamrock, click on it quickly and one of three yummy prizes, the Chocolate Covered Jelly Coin, the Clover Patty or the Shamrock Cookie, will be added to your account. These may not be new prizes but they are still delicious!  You can click on one Shamrock per day!

Congratulations to Webkinz Insider member fanaty on being the first to adopt the much talked about Grumpy Cat!!  It has been a while since a new pet has caused this much excitement and Webkinz Insider members were lined up at midnight to purchase this scowling feline! And what does the Grumpy Cat think of all this fuss? I believe he would say “Who Cares?”!

Pictured on the left you will see Tarter Sauce with her own PSI, the Crotchety Cat Bed. The PSF for this pet is Bad-Tempered Tuna.

The Grumpy Cat is available in the eStore right now but if you “have” to have the plush version, the Grumpy Cat will be available at retailers on March 1st, 2014. Redesigned W-Shop to be unveiled on February 19th

Nuts and Bolts teased us back in December about a BIG secret project they were working on and it has finally been revealed. This pair of “Construction” beavers have been very busy redesigning the W-Shop! Upon reveal, February 19th, 2014, the W-Shop will feature all of the Main Categories along the left hand side with subsections listed across the top. With the new subsection listings, ie: “Pedestals”, “Plants”, “Clocks”, “Windows” Bolt assures us that finding items will be much easier. There will also be a section in the W-Shop for adopting pets and you will be able to shop for eStore items!
 
To celebrate this W-Shop unveiling, Fluffington, the St. Bernard and the richest Webkinz in Kinzville has decided to reward everyone with 2000 free eStore points. When you log in between February 19th and April 1st, 2014, 2000 eStore points will automatically be added to your account!
 
 
 
Also on February 19th, 2014 Ganz will be retiring the Cafe Room Theme and the Sports Room Theme to deluxe only so if you are missing pieces of these themes you had better get shopping!
 

Grey Wolf Retires on February 16th, 2014

Word is the Grey Wolf is officially sold-out at the Ganz Warehouse and in celebration of this big event Ganz is throwing a retirement party this weekend! The Grey Wolf was originally introduced to us in December of 2010, and came with a spooky Howl and Prowl TV.
 
The retirement festivities for this pet will be held on Saturday, February 15th, featuring the Count the Sailboats Game for all Grey Wolf owners, and on Sunday, February 16th, when all Grey Wolf owners will be awarded with a free pair of Be Mine Sneakers.

In an unusual move, Ganz will also be releasing this pet on none other than February 14th, 2014, in the GanzEstore. You will not be able to use points to purchase this pet. The Grumpy Cat will only be available via credit card. This Grumpy Cat is hoping to bring you down by spreading gloom on this most romantic day of the year.

February, the month of love, has arrived with a flourish in Webkinz World. There are many new Valentines themed events happening so I am here to help you stay on top of them.
 
Heart Floaty Clicky Event: Log into Webkinz World every day from February 1st until February 14th and search for the Floating Heart. Click on the heart and you will win a random Valentine's themed prize. You can catch one heart per day per account.
 
Cinnamon's Chocolate Collection: Cinnamon is looking for you in Kinzville Park. From February 7th until February 14th, Cinnamon the Hamster will be at her stand in the Kinzville Park and is giving away special Valentine's Day chocolate. Collect all 6 Valentines Day Chocolates and you will win the grand prize, a Valentine Mailbox Fridge. You will need to collect one of these chocolates from Webkinz Newz!!
