Webkinz Newz has just announced the addition of three new prizes to the game of Spree! These three new items will soon be available when you reach the Mall: they are, from left to right, the Gold Leaf Trophy Pedestal, the Luxury Airliner and the Golden Sink.

 

To make room for these new additions, one item is being retired: the Monkey Kinzbanz Wall Art.

 

The new items are not yet in the system, so if you wish to acquire one, play Spree daily to get nearer the Mall but do not enter it as yet.

Webkinz Insider members logging into their Webkinz World accounts are greeted by a lovely surprise. A Kinzville Movie Theater is in your map dock, free of charge! Open your Map Stuff dock to see it.

 

The Kinzville Movie Theater was first introduced in early April 2013 for the hefty price of 10,000 Kinzcash in the W Shop. This price was reduced to 1000 kc on April 24. But after today's free gift from Ganz, you can buy an extra movie theater in the W Shop for only 5 kc.

 

In addition, there are floating movie tickets in Webkinz World. Click on a ticket and you will be awarded a random food to celebrate your new theater. Foods are Silver Screen Sours, Red Carpet Cola, Blockbuster Nachos, Giant Tub of Popcorn and Movie Star Candy Bar.

 

The Kinzville Movie Theater is an item for use only in your Kinzville Map. It is currently showing a variety of short instructional videos on Mazing Hamsters, the Adventure Park, the Kinzstyle Shop, and other areas of Webkinz World.

 

It is not known how long this promotion will last, so hurry and get your free Kinzville Movie Theater and food prizes now!

 

According to Webkinz Newz, tomorrow's maintenance will bring a change which Webkinz World members have long been asking for. This is the freedom to name your rooms as you see fit.

 

Originally in the early days of Webkinz World, players were free to name the rooms in their Webkinz house anything they liked. However there were abuses, and some players gave their rooms inappropriate names. To prevent this abuse, in September 2008 Ganz changed the room-naming feature to a list of approved names only. Our members have long been asking for more freedom in room-naming, including our famous "Name Our Rooms Compromise" thread in the Ideas for Ganz section of our forum.

 

Starting tomorrow, our members will once again be able to name their rooms according to their needs. This feature will be found as before, in the House Map in the top left corner when looking at your Webkinz room. There will be a prompt to select the room to be renamed, and a text window will open where you can type the room name of your choice. This name can be changed whenever  you wish.
