Sneak Peek at Two More Webkinz Plush Pets for August!

Webkinz Insider members who are fans of the soft plush pet Webbies will be thrilled to see these new pets that are scheduled for the month of August 2013! Here we have the Lollipop Pup on the left and the Banana Print Monkey on the right. We will let you know the Pet Specific Item and Pet Special Food as soon as they are revealed.

Sneak Peek at Lady Ostrich and Diggity Dino for August 2013!

Webkinz Newz is bringing us a sneak peek at the first two pets being revealed for the month of August. These are both regular size plushie Webkinz!
 
On the left is the Lady Ostrich. She is the first ostrich made by Ganz, and joins a flock of many types of birds in Webkinz World, which you can see in our Birds and Flying Pets Collection by clicking HERE.
 
On the right is the Diggity Dino who joins a herd of Dinosaurs which can be seen in our WIKI.

Webkinz POTM for August 2013: Blossom Sea Turtle!

Thanks to Webkinz Insider's partner store Ameriwade, we know that the Pet Of The Month for August 2013 will be the Blossom Sea Turtle, seen above! The Blossom Sea Turtle is a regular plush Webkinz which was released in January 2012.  You can see the Blossom Sea Turtle's Pet Specific Item the Sea Floral Cave, and Pet Special Food Sea Sponge Cake by clicking HERE.
 
If you adopt a Blossom Sea Turtle, make sure to do it during its special month, in this case August. You will then receive a POTM Exclusive item in addition to a Wish Token and other goodies. If you own a Blossom Sea Turtle already, you get to do the special Daily Activities reserved for the POTM.
 
The POTM for the month of July is the Tree Kangaroo.

Webkinz Newz has just announced the addition of three new prizes to the game of Spree! These three new items will soon be available when you reach the Mall: they are, from left to right, the Gold Leaf Trophy Pedestal, the Luxury Airliner and the Golden Sink.
 
To make room for these new additions, one item is being retired: the Monkey Kinzbanz Wall Art.
 
The new items are not yet in the system, so if you wish to acquire one, play Spree daily to get nearer the Mall but do not enter it as yet.

Super School Day in Webkinz World on Monday May 20!

It may be a long holiday weekend in real life (depending on where you live), but it's a Super School Day at the Kinzville Academy today Monday May 20!

On Super School Days, every class passed at the Kinzville Academy will give you double the credits. Don't miss your opportunity, since a good education carries many benefits, just like in real life. Special Pet Actions, special prizes, better results in tournaments and games such as Webkinz Rally, a Diploma to hang on your wall, and of course Recess! these are a few of the bonuses for attending school regularly. Some of you may be thinking summer vacation is right around the corner, but not Ms Cowoline. She is thinking school classes and more school classes, which means... SUPER SCHOOL DAY on May 17th!
That is right! Ms Cowoline is offering 2 credits for each completed class passed at the Kinzville Academy!
If you are new to the Kinzville Academy, have no fear as Ms Cowoline will talk you through it.

New Things-To-Do Menu in Webkinz World!

Webkinz Insider members will be happy to see a return to the pop-up menu for Things To Do in their Webkinz accounts.  Many of our members were having problems navigating the Kinzville Map due to lagging and the dreaded "Please Wait..."
 
This new menu has even more options than the previous one, including a link to Webkinz Newz. Our readers will remember that the previous menu was removed in October2012 and replaced with the Customizable Map of Kinzville. The new map remains, but the pop-up menu offers an alternate and faster way of moving around Webkinz World.

Kinzville Movie Theater Awarded Free to All Webkinz World Accounts!

Webkinz Insider members logging into their Webkinz World accounts are greeted by a lovely surprise. A Kinzville Movie Theater is in your map dock, free of charge! Open your Map Stuff dock to see it.
 
The Kinzville Movie Theater was first introduced in early April 2013 for the hefty price of 10,000 Kinzcash in the W Shop. This price was reduced to 1000 kc on April 24. But after today's free gift from Ganz, you can buy an extra movie theater in the W Shop for only 5 kc.
 
In addition, there are floating movie tickets in Webkinz World. Click on a ticket and you will be awarded a random food to celebrate your new theater. Foods are Silver Screen Sours, Red Carpet Cola, Blockbuster Nachos, Giant Tub of Popcorn and Movie Star Candy Bar.
 
The Kinzville Movie Theater is an item for use only in your Kinzville Map. It is currently showing a variety of short instructional videos on Mazing Hamsters, the Adventure Park, the Kinzstyle Shop, and other areas of Webkinz World.
 
It is not known how long this promotion will last, so hurry and get your free Kinzville Movie Theater and food prizes now!
