Webkinz Newz has announced the winners of the November POTM, the Walrus. Congratulations to Carolyn, Christin, Hannah, Meckenzi and Tamara! They are the lucky randomly selected winners of the Walrus contest. They have each been sent a Secret Code for the Walrus. Ganz wanted to know the coolest thing in Webkinz World. The arcade got the most votes!!

 

The Parent Club has also announced the winners of their Pumpkin Recipe contest. Five creative recipe submitters are now the proud owners of a new Midnight Monster virtual pet. Sincere congratulations to Donna with her Donna's Coveted Pumpkin Chili, Allison with her D and A's Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies, Jennifer for her Pumpkin Mousse, Carol and her Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies and Greg with his Roasted Pumpkin Seeds.

 

 

Webkinz Newz is announcing a new contest! This contest will last through the month of November 2011, and features the December Pet Of The Month, the Reindeer.

 

Just in time for Thanksgiving, Ganz wants to know what you are most thankful for. Just list the top 10 things for which you are grateful, and you could win one of FIVE randomly-awarded prizes! The prizes are the virtual Reindeer of course. As usual, this contest is open to residents of the USA and Canada with some exceptions due to state or provincial laws.

Halloween is only a couple of days away!  Who's in the mood for a Halloween Contest!  If you can help us name the contents of six "spooky" jars, you can win a prize.  We have filled six mason jars with items that are going to be part of a witch's apothecary on Halloween night.  We need your help to tell us what each jar contains.  The more creative the names, the better!

 

To enter, just post your suggestions in the thread below.  You can post as many names as you would like, although multiple entries will not increase your odds of winning.

Ganz has announced that a new Webkinz will be coming soon to Webkinz World and that "this secret pet can only be won through the Ganz Parent Club!"  For those of you who may not know, the Parent Club is a special section of the Webkinz Newz site that is designed for Webkinz players who are 18 years old or older.  There is no word yet on exactly how or when this new pet will be made available, but as soon as that news is released, we will bring it to you here.  

 

UPDATE:  Thank you to all of our members who have pointed out that the file name of the image shown above is "fabled-goose-anonymous".  Many players had speculated that this new Webkinz would be a Mother Goose-type character, and now it appears they were correct!
