Ganz Announces "Webkinz Turkey on Holiday" Contest

Ganz has announced that they will be holding a new contest on the Webkinz Newz site this weekend.  For this contest, they want pictures and drawings of the "Webkinz Turkey on holiday".  They want to know what adventure you would send your Turkey on during Thanksgiving.  
 
Winners will be selected from the "silliest or most unique images".  Five lucky winners will each receive a High End Stainless Steel Stove, High End Counter, High End Kitchen Sink, High End Sandwich Maker, and a High End Fridge, all items from the Ganz eStore.

Winners of WI and Ameriwade Halloween Room Contest Announced!

WI Contest: Decorate the Best Halloween Room and Win a Priceless Monsters Lair Gate or Ghostly Urn!

Thanks to yet another generous donation from our partner Webkinz retailer at Ameriwade.Com, we are hosting a contest here on Webkinz Insider to give away 1 Priceless Monster's Lair Gate, last available in Halloween 2005, and 1 Priceless Ghostly Urn, last available in Halloween 2006.

We want you to decorate the most amazing Halloween room that you can using items in Webkinz World. Be as creative as you can, utilizing different items, with different pets to make the best and most original Halloween room you can imagine! You may spend as much kinz cash as you like and use whatever items you would like. You may use any size room that you like. There are no restrictions as long as you utilize only items found in Webkinz World. Use of other software programs to modify entries will result in disqualification.

 

Since there are two prizes, there will be two winners. The first winner will be chosen by me and Justin. The second winner will be chosen randomly from all of the entries to receive the other Priceless virtual item!

Wow!  There were over 600 fantastic entries into the WI & Ameriwade Webkinz Halloween costume contest.  Justin and I had a very difficult time making our 'Founders Choice' and it took us two whole days to make the decision.  We wish we had a Purple Witch Hat for everyone that entered because there were so many amazing and creative entries!  Without further ado....the winner of the first Purple Witch Hat for the Founders Choice award is:

Webkinz Insider Announces "Trophy Avatar" Contest

We've always known we have fantastic members here at Webkinz Insider, but nothing made that clearer than the amazing feat you all accomplished yesterday.  In less than 12 hours all 12 of the new "Super Secret" recipez were solved by members of our forum! We were astonished, and because of that, we've decided to celebrate.
 
In honor of the 12 solved recipez, we are going to give away 12 trophies.  To enter this contest, all you have to do is change your avatar to show a picture of a trophy, any trophy.  That's it.  No clicking, no puzzles, no hoops to jump through.  Just change your avatar, and you're entered.  At 6pm Eastern Time, on Wednesday, October 21st, 12 members with trophy avatars will be randomly selected to win the trophies.  You do not need to be logged on to Webkinz Insider at that time to win.
 
The prizes for this contest are:
  • 1 Go-Go Googles Trophy

We want you to design a Halloween-themed forum signature for the founders of WI (Justin & Wendy)! The maximum dimensions for the image are 450 pixels wide by 150 pixels tall, but they can be any size smaller than those dimensions. The forum signature image must be Halloween-themed and contain a reference to WI and Ameriwade.Com to be considered for the prizes. We have included some WI logos to get you started on the official contest entry thread, but you are free to create your own.
