Winterfest arrives in Webkinz World January 7th

 Ganz has revealed the official start date for Winterfest 2012, the snowflakes will be arriving in Webkinz World on January 7th. This annual Webkinz Event features flying snowflakes which players click-to-win fabulous winter themed prizes.  Last year's prizes included: the Icicle Wind Chime, Magic W Toque, Peppermint Hot Chocolate, Potted Ice Flower, Roasted Chestnuts, Snow Cone, Winterfest Hoodie, Winterfest Window, and Wool Scarf Jacket.
 
The only prize confirmed for Winterfest 2012 are the Winterfest Pajama Bottoms, shown above, and was the first preview to be featured on Webkinznewz.com.  Further information and sneek peaks at additonal Winterfest items will be arriving on Webkinznewz, so stay tuned!

Ms. Birdy Returns to the Clubhouse for Christmas Countdown 2011 *UPDATE*

Ms. Birdy has returned to Webkinz World, and to the delight of players everywhere, she is super easy to find!  Instead of wandering around the Clubhouse, jumping from room to room, she stays put in the Santakinz Room, and she is there all day long.  To collect your prize, just go to the Santakinz Room and click on her.  
 
Remember, in order to collect all of Ms. Birdy's prizes, you need to click on her once a day for the next twelve days.  If you miss a day, you can't go back and get that prize, unless you spend points at the Ganz eStore.  To learn more about the Countdown to Christmas 2011, please visit the Webkinz Insider WIki.
 
Players who have Deluxe accounts but who have not adopted a new Webkinz in the past twelve months can't participate.  When they click on Ms. Birdy a message pops up saying they are not allowed to get a gift.  Since Deluxe accounts are supposed to have full access to Webkinz World, this appears to be a glitch.
 
Several of our members with Asian accounts discovered the glitch early on Tuesday, and they were able to get in contact with Ganz Customer Service to report the problem.  Although there has not been any official word from Ganz, the word from several customer service representatives is that the programmers are looking into the problem and they hope it will be corrected soon.
 
UPDATE:  The glitch has been fixed!  Now, if you have a Deluxe account that has not adopted a pet in the past 12 months, you can get gifts from Ms. Birdy.  If you missed out on the gift from day one due to this glitch, please contact Ganz to let them know.  Reports from our members are that the Customer Service Reps are giving players 2000 eStore points so that the players can purchase the missing gift.  To contact Ganz, please click HERE.

Webkinz Insider Member is First Known Player to Complete Nafaria Collection

Congratulations to Webkinz Insider member suzette424 on being the first known player to collect all twenty of the prizes in the Nafaria Star Trading feature!  She was able to trade for the final prize early this morning.  suzette424 found Nafaria and attempted to trade with her all 41 days this event has been running.  
 
As an additional reward she also received a MyPage Badge called Nafaria's Little Helper.  Above you can see a picture of the room she created using the prizes from this event, as well as some other items.

Webkinz Insider Members Awarded Surprise Kinectimals Prizes *UPDATE*

Last month Ganz announced that, as part of the Kinectimals Game Promotion, they would be awarding players an Exotic Bear Cub Statue on December 10 and a Peaceful Meadow Window on December 18.  As several Webkinz Insider members have discovered, these prizes have already arrived!
 
Some players are reporting that they receive the prize after clicking on one of the floating pandas in Webkinz World.  Other players are reporting that they receive the prize after completing the Kinectimals Video Challenge.  Either way, this is one welcome surprise!  Unlike the Kinectimals Island ATV that was previously awarded as part of this promotion, both of these items CAN be traded and sent by KinzPost.
 
It is unclear at this point what this means for the future of the Kinectimals Game Promotion, specifically what is going to happen on the 10th and the 18th.  As soon as that information is revealed, we will bring it to you here.
 
*UPDATE* 
 
 It's now December 10 in Asian accounts, and members are receiving the Exotic Bear Cub Statue on login to their Webkinz World accounts. It is to be expected that members in other time zones will receive the same login present when their day turns over to Saturday December 10.

Mr. Moo's Candy Bar Returns in New Webkinz Challenge!

Thank you to Webkinz Insider member Dash for sharing some amazing news with us.  The Mr. Moo Candy Bar has returned!  Dash discovered that this very special food is one of the prizes for the new Meet Mr. Moo Challenge that was added to Webkinz World yesterday.
 
Before today, the Mr. Moo Candy Bar was one of the rarest food items in Webkinz World.  It was awarded as a prize in a click-to-win event that happened before most of the current Webkinz players had even heard of Webkinz World!  Now that it has returned, every player will be able to own one.

Two new Alvin Challenges on Webkinz Newz

Two new challenges relating to the new Alvin and the Chipmunks ChipWrecked Movie have been added to Webkinz Newz. Both challenges run each day from December 7th 12:00 am EST until December 18th 11:59 pm EST. The first challenge is a ChipWrecked Peek-A-Newz. Simply search Webkinz Newz, find Alvin five times and a prize will be awarded to your account. The second challenge ChipWrecked Promotion is an ad search. Find the above ad (on the right), click on it, fill out the applicable fields and an Alvin's Hawaiian Shirt will be added to your account. As always one prize per Webkinz World account per day.

Ganz World Parent Club Announces Christmas Click-To-Win

There is a new Christmas Click-To-Win starting soon on the Ganz World Parent Club site. This new Click-to-Win will run from December 4th 12:00am EST until December 26 11:59pm EST.
 
Some of the prizes you could win are the Darling Garland Home, Cheery Christmas Home, Festive Wreath Home, Gourmet Food Shop, Holiday Toy Shop, Fine Clothing Shop, Christmas Carol Cobblestones, Town Square Tree, Festive Sidewalk Tree, Tasty Treat Cart, Festive Fountain, Town Square Bench, Town Square Chair, Festive Sidewalk Lamp, Town Square Bulletin Board, Snowy Holiday Fence, Frosted Window Home, Roast Feast and the Novelty Storybook. All items are part of the new Christmas Carol Theme except for the last two, the Roast Feast and the Novelty Storybook which are non-tradable estore items. As always some prizes are rarer than others.
 
As with all Parent Club contests, you must be 18 or over to participate, so get your parents to help you out!

Be sure to visit Webkinz Newz all December long and search for a floating Candy Cane. Starting today, December 1, 2011 12:00 AM EST and running until December 30, 2011 11:59 PM EST Webkinz Newz is giving away items from their new w-Shop Christmas Carol theme. All you have to do is search Webkinz Newz for a floating Candy Cane, click on it, fill in the applicable fields and an item from the Christmas Carol theme will be added to your account. There is a limit of one prize per day per Webkinz World account. Some items are more rare than others. The Candy Cane is NOT one of the prizes.

The candy cane will NOT be floating on December 3, 7, 10, 13, 17, 19, 24, 28 or 31.

New Turkey Hat Click to Win Event Coming to Webkinz Newz

Don't let the fact that there are no clothing items in this year's Thanksgiving basket get you down.  Ganz has announced that they will be holding a special Click to Win event on the Webkinz Newz site for a fantastic Turkey Hat!  On November 24, 25, 27, and 28, keep an eye on the Webkinz Newz for floating hats.  When you spot one, click on it, and you will be rewarded with a hat on your account.  Each player can win one hat per day per account.  Get ready to get clicking!

Kinectimals click-to-win prizes arrive in Webkinz World

 Members have reported that the Kinectimal Panda has been floating across their screen, and bringing some cool new prizes when they click on this friendly bear.  Once you click on the floating Panda, a screen will pop up asking you to complete challenges of three different actions.
After completing the three challenges you will receive one of five brand new Kinectimal challenge food items, Blueberry Nut Bar, Island Berry Smoothie, Tree Sap Soda, Wild Berry Biscuits, or Wildflower Porridge. It is unknown how long this promotion will last, so be sure to check into Webkinz World shortly if you are looking for cute new food items!
