BREAKING NEWS: WI Member Discovers new wCares Lil Kinz

While shopping at Walgreens today, tchummer, a member of our forum, discovered two new Lil Kinz with the red Webkinz Cares tags: the Lil Kinz Basset Hound and the Lil Kinz Cow. As you may remember, Ganz announced that the Webkinz Cares program would center around the Lil Kinz Cocker Spaniel but that a limited amount of two other Lil Kinz styles would be available each month. Based on tchummer's discovery, we believe the Lil Basset Hound and the Lil Cow are the styles for July.

UPDATE: We have also been getting scattered reports of Lil Kinz Grey & White Cats with the wCares tags. Thank you to bluelw for providing us with a picture.

Remember, the wCares Lil Kinz for June are the Cocker Spaniel, Gold & White Cat, and Elephant. read more »

Webkinz Insider User Discovers New Items in Webkinz eStore!!

One of the users in our forum, Webkinzroxmysox, came across a bunch of new items in the new Webkinz eStore!

Unfortunately, these items were not intended to be shown to the public by Ganz and have been removed at their request.

We have also been informed to make it clear that those items are not available, will not be available soon, and may never be available.

All of the rumors regarding the Webkinz eStore can finally be put to rest. The eStore website is now officially open, and ready for business. You may remember several months ago we brought you pictures of some eStore items that had been mistakenly awarded with Carrier and Backpack codes. Now all of those items, and more, are available for purchase at www.webkinzestore.com.

The items currently available for purchase are:

When you purchase the item, you recieve a code, similar to a Trading Card code, that you then enter in the Webkinz Code Shop to claim your prize. BREAKING NEWS: Cat Theme Due to Retire!

We've just recieved word that the Cat Theme is about to be retired from the W-Shop. Based on the survey conducted in Webkinz World, members decided that they'd rather keep the Dog Theme and have the Cat Theme retire. We don't yet know if the Cat Theme will move to the Curio Shop, like the Hockey and Country Themes did, or if it will really be gone forever. Either way, if you have plans to do any cat decorating in your house, you'd better hurry while the items are still available.

UPDATE: The Cat Theme is now being sold in the Curio Shop. All pieces are "Curio Shop Only" items. read more »

BREAKING NEWS: WI Member Wins First Place in Beauty Pageant

Congratulations to sgiles53, a member of our forum, on her first place win in the Beauty Pageant. Here is a picture of her Black Cat, Ebony, dressed in her winning outfit, posing next to the First Place Medal (on the wall). Along with the medal, Ebony also won a prize of 9000 KinzCash. Good work sgiles53 and Ebony!

Ebony credits the win to all of the hard work she has done in the KinzVille Academy. She has managed to reach Level Eight in the Fashion Class. Remember, it's the work you do in the Academy that affects your score in Stadium competitions. read more »

BREAKING NEWS: WI Member Activates Webkinz Striped Snake!

On this first day of June, we've confirmed the first known adoption of the last "unadopted June Webkinz", the Webkinz Striped Snake! A new member to our forum, garlex mom, was the first Webkinz Insider user to activate and report her adoption to WI!

Here's a couple of pictures of Silly Snake!

She did tell us that there was a hiccup with the adoption and that she didn't receive any of the adoption gifts, so for those of you with Striped Snakes over the next few days, you may want to wait until the next update to Webkinz World before activating the Striped Snake. Here are the pictures of the Gift Box, "Seasoned Mole Dariole" Pet Specific Food and the "Bakin' Snake Stove" Pet Specific Item!

BREAKING NEWS: Webkinz Rhino and Black And White Cheeky Dog Retired!

Wow! Ganz pulled a fast one on all of us.

Keeping with their tradition of always keeping us guessing, Ganz unexpectedly retired the Webkinz Rhino and the Webkinz Black & White Cheeky Dog today! Both of these Webkinz have only been out for a few months, so it is quite a surprise to see these relatively new Webkinz retiring already!

We know that it is hard to believe, we had trouble believing it ourselves, but we have confirmed the information with Ganz!
