BREAKING NEWS: KinzVille Academy Level 10 Prize Update

Congratulations to chapman12, a member of our forum, on completing Level 10 of another class at the KinzVille Academy, the Strength Class. You may remember on Friday we reported to you on chapman12's completion of the Speed Class. She was waiting to hear back from Ganz regarding the "Special Prize" that should have been awarded for this accomplishment. Here's what the Customer Service Rep at Ganz told her this afternoon:

chapman12: Here is the latest update. Ganz does not have items in place at this time for finishing KA classes through Level 10. However, according to the Ganz representative I have been in contact with, she was told that prizes will be available on Wednesday, June 25th. She feels that Ganz was not ready for someone to have finished through Level 10 yet so they had nothing ready. Guess they should have considered us crazy, obsessive KA fans.

Please check back on June 26th when we hope to be able to bring you more news on these prizes.

BREAKING NEWS: Beauty Class Vanity Awarded to WI Member

Congratulations to mayas.mom, a member of our forum, for being the first person to report on being awarded the Beauty Class Vanity. She completed Level 5 of the Grooming Class at the KinzVille Academy today and this prize appeared in her dock. Here is a picture of her Hippo, Periwinkle posing with her new prize.

BREAKING NEWS: WI Member Completes Level 10 in Academy Course

Congratulations to chapman12, a member of our forum, who just completed Level Ten of the Speed Training course at the Kinzville Academy. Her Dalmation, Tanker, is the first Webkinz we know of to have accomplished this. According to the report card, Tanker should have recieved a "special surprise", but chapman12 indicates that no prize has yet been awarded.

UPDATE: chapman12 has been speaking with a Customer Service Rep at Ganz regarding this issue. We expect to have more information on the status of the "special surprise" on Monday.

BREAKING NEWS: New Webkinz PSFs Discovered

Webkinz Insider is now able to confirm the names of the Pet Specific Foods for the four new July Webkinz:

Toco Toucan - Buggy Squawkamole
Rottweiler - Chewy Spiced Spatzle
Spotted Leopard - Grilled Ungulate Galette
Crocodile - Millusk Medallions

On Thursday morning these four new PSFs appeared in the wShop and, even though none of these Webkinz have been released, members were able to purchase the food for 25 KC each. However, since none of the graphics have yet been loaded into the system, the food appears as an empty space in the dock.

Many of our members have been anxiously awaiting the release of these Webkinz, so hopefully this is a sign that they're just around the corner and that we will be able to report on new adoptions soon. read more »

NEWS: Clubhouse Construction Continues

Some, but not all, of our members have reported being able to get the Webkinz Clubhouse feature to work on their accounts. Those who have been able to get in have noticed that construction on the new tree has progressed and now a framework, resembling that of the original Clubhouse, can be seen. Is this the return of KinzChat Plus? We don't yet know, but it is certainly worth keeping an eye on.

BREAKING NEWS: New Superbeds, New Game, New Retired Webkinz!

A quick downtime around Midnight last night gave us some good news and bad when the system came back up. The Cat Theme is now gone from the Wshop. You may remember that we had some warning about this earlier last week, but we didn't know what day it would happen.

Also, it is now time to say goodbye to some new and old friends: It is the retirement of the Samoyed, Tiger Snake, Leopard Lizard, Black and White Cheeky Dog, the Rhino, and the Webkinz Elephant (June Pet of the Month). That makes this month all the more special for those adoptions.

Now, onto the good news, we now have 2 new Superbed options: the Apple Pie and the Artist's Pallet.
We also have a new game called Get Eleven Solitaire.

News: Multi-Use Features Temporarily Out of Service

It appears that the Webkinz Phone, the ClubHouse, and the Tournament Area are all temporarily out of service. We don't yet know if new features are being added, or if this is a part of regular maintenance to the site.

We can report that briefly last night there were some changes to the games in the Tournament Area that are now gone this morning. Atomicolicious and Wacky Zingoz Extreme had disappeared and halliepdaly noticed a new game called Get Eleven Solitare, but was unable to play it. read more »
