BREAKING NEWS: WI Confirms September & Easter Releases and Virtual Webkinz Images!

The new Webkinz to be released in September 2008 are: HM184 Floppy Pig, HM214 Eagle, HM217 Chipmunk, HM20 Bottlenose Dolphin, HM227 Sheep, HS501 Lil Kinz Chickadee, HS023 Lil Kinz Seal.

For Easter 2009, Ganz is releasing a new Webkinz, a Cotton Candy Bunny (HM174), and bringing back last year's seasonal release, the Duck (HM148 ).

It also appears that Ganz intends to add to the KinzStyle line.

BREAKING NEWS: KinzChat PLUS is Coming Back to Webkinz World.

As many of our members suspected, the construction at the Clubhouse means KinzChat PLUS is coming back soon. It's not back yet, but as soon as the doors open, we will be certain to let you know. Kids, you'll have to have a parent's permission before you can visit this new area. BREAKING NEWS: "My Page" Feature Arrives in Webkinz World

A small number of Webkinz World accounts were treated to a preview of the new "My Page" feature today. A statement released by Ganz indicates that they are using this preview to make sure everything is ready before the programming is added to the rest of the accounts in Webkinz World. Check out the "Things To Do" menu on your account. If you have the "My Page" button, your account has been selected for the preview. If you don't have it yet, just be patient. Hopefully you will have access to it soon.

"My Page" is similar to the Profile Pages we have here on Webkinz Insider. You can customice your page with information about your Webkinz family, your favorite things in Webkinz World, your Arcade scores and more. Just like with regular KinzChat, all of the options are preprogrammed, so there is no risk of any real-world personal information being exchanged.

BREAKING NEWS: New "Teaser" Ad Appears in Webkinz World

Many of you noticed a new "teaser" advertisement in Webkinz World today. Could this be a reference to the new Faintail Goldfish Webkinz expected out next month, or should we be wondering about something bigger? As soon as we can confirm what this is about, we will let you know.

BREAKING NEWS: Zingoz Celebration Arrives in Webkinz World

The Zingoz Celebration has begun! "It's time to get a little Wacky"! Zingoz Celebration will last from Thursday, July 17th through Wednesday, July 23rd. Thank you to our members with Asian Time Zone accounts for giving us a sneak peek at the festivities.

Floating Zingoz have been spotted in Webkinz World. Clicking on a Zingoz will win you the previously unseen Zingoz Plushie. Keep your eyes peeled and click quickly. Once Zingoz Celebration is over, these adorable animals could be gone for good. Congratulations to Cozmic and Roselake for being the first WI members to report clicking Zingoz.

UPDATE: We can now report that the Zingoz are flying on an Eleven Minute Schedule. What this means is that every eleven minutes you will have a chance at having a Zingoz fly across your screen. This same timing was observed during the Webkinz ExtravaGANZa with the Flying Pigs.

The Wacky Zingoz 600 Trophy which has been unavailable for over a year now has returned for the Celebration. To pick up a trophy, visit the Arcade and try your hand at Wacky Zingoz. If you can hit the Zingoz to a distance of 600 or more in one shot, you will be awarded the trophy. Congratulations to Dixiecup for being the first WI member to report winning the trophy.
