BREAKING NEWS: New Underwater Theme in the wShop

The brief maintenance in Webkinz World this afternoon brought some additions to the wShop. A brand new Coral Reef Theme is now available. It is important to note that all of the furniture in this theme is "For underwater rooms only." Manatee and Goldfish owners now have some decorating options as unique as their underwater rooms.

BREAKING NEWS: Goo-Goo Berries Return to Webkinz World

In a totally unexpected move, Ganz has brought back the floating Goo-Goo Berries. Clicking on a floating Goo-Goo Berry will get you a Goo-Goo Berry in your dock, which you can then feed to your Webkinz. These Berries, which were originally part of the promotion for the introduction of the Go Go Googles game, were previously seen for one week in December 2006 and for another week in December 2007. This is the first time they have ever been spotted during the Summer. According to the Webkinz World News, they will be around from August 7th through August 13th.

BREAKING NEWS: Webkinz and Lil Kinz Lamb Coming to Webkinz World

We can now confirm that a new Webkinz Lamb is coming to Webkinz World. HM201 is a full-size plushie, NOT a Lil Kinz. All of the Easter Webkinz are scheduled for release in mid-February 2009. We are not yet certain if this is a third Easter Seasonal animal, in addition to the Easter Duck and the Cotton Candy Bunny, or if it is a regular release.

UPDATE: As you can see above, there is a Lil' Kinz Lamb picture, as well. We've just confirmed that both the Webkinz Lamb and Lil' Kinz Lamb are both listed as pets for Easter of 2009. We aren't sure on shipping dates, or whether either one will be seasonal at this point, but the virtual pictures of both are shown below, along with the other Easter animals.

First there was "Webkinz Wednesday" and now there is "Surprise Saturday". Today, Saturday, August 2nd, four Charm Codes are available for purchase in the Webkinz eStore. If you're looking for either the Black Lab, Black and White Cat, Chihuahua, or Elephant Charm Codes to complete your online collection, you're in luck. Remember, these items are available today only! We don't know what items, if any, will be available next Saturday.

Also, four new "Online Exclusive" items have been added to the Webkinz eStore: Mini-Yeti Forest, Pond with Fountain, Four Seasons Tree, and Night And Day Bed. All four of these items are animated.

BREAKING NEWS: KinzChat PLUS returns to SOME Webkinz World Accounts

Some of the members of our forum have reported being able to get into the Clubhouse AND being able to get into the KinzChat PLUS section. It appears that this long-anticipated feature has been added to a limited number of accounts in order to give Ganz a chance to make sure everything is working properly.

Here is a statement from Ganz regarding the release of KinzChat PLUS:

BREAKING NEWS: WI Member Completes Agility Class Level 10

Congratulations to perdita101, a member of our forum, on completing Level 10 of the Agility (Track & Field) class at the KinzVille Academy. As a reward for this accomplishment she received a Level 10 Agility "Pin" (or "Badge") on her Report Card and the Academy Track & Field Class Gift Box.

The Academy Gift Boxes are similar to Super Bed Boxes. When opened, you are able to select ONE item out of a list of Academy-themed prizes. The choices in the Track & Field Box are: the Hurdle Trampoline, the Finish Line Tape Room Divider, the Spring Shaded Lamp, the Silver Yoga Ball Chair, the Leaping Lizards Poster, and the Athletic Soaking Tub.
