 With Valentine's Day just around the corner, Webkinz Newz is looking to celebrate this fabulous holiday with a peek-a-newz all focused on PINK. Those who are interested in winning some fabulous prizes should look for Peresephone five times a day to win a random pink prize now until February 13th. 
 
Webkinz Newz also published the following "how to play" instructions for thsi Peek-a-Newz event:
 
  • Click the button below to start the Peek-A-Newz Challenge -- you will be taken to the front page of Webkinz Newz!
  • Then, search Webkinz Newz for the featured host by visiting different pages. The host could "peek" out from anywhere on a page! Make sure you let the page finish loading before visiting another one.
  • When you find the host, click on him or her.
  • Find the host five times, then fill in the form and a special prize will be added to your Webkinz World account. One prize per Webkinz World account per day.
 
If you are not logged into GanzWorld, or you haven't linked your Webkinz World account you will be asked to log into your account from the pop-up window to claim your prize. If it does not show a notfication after you log in, check your account's dock.
 
Please note that you are limited to one prize per webkinz world account per day.  Good luck to all those who play!

I have no idea what we got on our accounts. It doesn't show up, and I have way too many things in my dock to figure it out. :/ Do we know what the types of prizes are yet?

So far all I have gotten is the Pink Diving outfit and the two ice cream cones. They are the same as the Parents Club items.

They show up as the last item in each section; i.e. food, clothes, furniture.

Hear, Hear! I have the same problem. I used to really enjoy logging onto my accounts and seeing all the items I won. Not sure why they don't do this anymore but I sure do wish they would go back to the old way. There are too many things in my dock to go through and see if and want I won. Then again there are a lot of things that GANZ has changed that I wish would go back to the old way.

Also, on the Peek a Newz, after clicking on the Persephone 5 times and putting your account info. in, if you just continue clicking around, without entering the campaign again, you only have to find her 1 time and it will come up saying you have found her 5 times again and again until you finish all of your accounts. This only works if you are not signed it but it saves you a lot of time.

Oh, one more thing, since she is light pink, she is sometimes hard to see, esp. if she shows up with only the top of her head on the right hand side of the screen next to GANZ Arcade. Good luck everyone!

look in every category : food, clothes, futniture or .... the newest item that was added will be the very last one in that category . Even if you already had that ice-cream the chances are that ice-cream was in the middle of your food category but if one more was added as a prize it will be moved to the very end of the food category next time you log in

I did not have to wait 24 hours to do the contests again. Did them yesterday in the afternoon and today I just finished both WKN and Parents Club. The only thing I have to wait for is the Moneyz.

I really miss the the 'You've got prizes'. I couldn't wait to log in and see what I had won. Clothes and Furniture are fairly easy to find but most prizes are objects and it takes forever to click all the way to the end to see what you've won. I wish they would put in a 'last' button we could just click and go to the end. I need to clean my dock but it would take at least 10 storage rooms and my houses are pretty much full. I have some blank spots here and there but I can't put a room there because it would mess up a room I've already completed. (Thanks to Ganz never living up to their statement of our being able to move or remove doors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I miss the old WKN SOOO... MUCH! It was so much easier to navigate and find things. I find myself spending most of my time scrolling down through the endless comments to get to the ads. The front page was so easy to see at a glance what was going on that day without having to go to twenty different pages & scroll & scroll & scroll!! PLUS a number of sites are not even open. AND Treasure Hunt is gone!
