Spookys Halloween Peek-A-Newz Challenge on Webkinz Newz

Its not working. I tried with two accounts, and after nearly half an hour, received a "servers are temporarily down" message. I NEVER play the peek-a-news because it takes so long, and I finally try and this. I did send Ganz a message, and am hoping it is working for someone!

I'm just jinxed when it comes to peek-a-news. Its a good thing I can often find the prizes in the GE!

I had no problem finding Spooky, but I am in the habit of logging in often when I have to click on too many pages.

The prizes I have received so far are:
mini pumpkin tarts
pb & j chococups
gnarled pumpkin chair (I think this is new)
acorn placemat setting
small inflatable jack o'lantern

Thanks for the information Electrabuzz, I finished today. It took a long time. I won the pumpkin tarts. I have them from last year so maybe next time I will win that table

I had no trouble finding that spooky hamster, I used Internet Explorer and that little guy showed up quite often.

Does anyone know tips and tricks to peek a news. Every time I try it, I see the character 3 times and then never again. I hope to win the Halloween banner as that was the hard one to win last year and I never did win it.

This is the best advice to finish the peek. Personally, I don't clear my cache, but I do log in again and he starts showing up again.

And yes, the new furniture is recolored from the old w-shop items. The old stuff is brown colored "Purple Pumpkin" and the new is gray colored "gnarled".

I do PAN for multiple accounts (13 of them)!

The quickest way to do them for me is to open both firefox and IE. I log into two accounts at once, one on each browser.

Next, from the front main page of Newz I right click and open in new tab 5 links from the RECENT POSTS menu on the left side of the main page of Newz on each browser (on firefox it will say "open link in new tab", on IE it will say "open in new tab")

Once all the pages are loaded on each browser, I go through the tabs and look for the character. I click on it when I find it and then switch to the other browser. I then go back to the main Newz page of the browser and right click on the top of the tab to reload all the tabs that are open. (IE it will say "refresh all" and Firefox will say "reload all tabs" I then go through the tabs again, clicking on the character.

The character link is only active on one tab per refresh, you can time working both browsers so that you are refreshing one set, while looking at the other set.

If you are not doing PAN for multiple accounts, opening up both browsers and logging in with the same user id/password, will speed up the search for the character.

If you have not seen the character for two refreshes, log into Pan again and refresh the tabs. It will continue where you last were.

I hope this helps, I can usually get all my accounts done in about half an hour to forty-five minutes.

If it stops showing, I can sometimes get it to pop up if I go to the contests page as if I am planning to login again. If you have more than one account, sometimes I will find it 3 times on one account, login to the other to find it a few times and then go back to the original account.



On one account today, I got a chair to match the purple table. The thing is the table and chairs seem to be rare, so it probably is wishful thinking to think I can get enough chairs and a table, but I will keep playing multiple accounts in hopes I can get a set to put on one.

I received last years Peek a Newz Items: Acorn Placemat Setting, Leaf Glasses, Mini Pumpkin Tarts, PB & J Chococup, and Small Inflatable Jack O'Lantern. I have not received a banner yet.
