Webkinz Road Trip 2011 is Just Around the Corner!

webkinz cheatsThe Webkinz Road Trip for 2011 is scheduled to kick off this weekend, and Webkinz players are getting very excited, each hoping that the tour will come to a town near them.  Details about the tour have been difficult to come by, but here is what we know so far.

  • The tour officially begins on Saturday, April 9, at the Atlanta Braves Home opener.
  • The van will be located in the "Red Brick area".  Visitors will not need tickets to the game in order to see the van, but they will have to pay for parking.  The van will be set up no later than 10:30am.
  • Feature codes for virtual Touring Vans will be available to visitors, for both adults and children.
  • Future events will be at Hospitals, Retailers, at at least three State Fairs (San Diego County Fair, California State Fair, and Minnesota State Fair).

As soon as more information about the Webkinz Road Trip is revealed, we will bring it to you here.  To see pictures of what happened at last year's event, please visit the Webkinz insider WIki.

Exciting! Hopefully they'll get up to Canada to see us

Re: Webkinz Road Trip 2011 is Just Around the Corner!

The California Expo State Fair is in Sacramento. I wonder what the San Diego thing is? I might make a road trip to visit that one, depending on where the Webkinz Road Trip will be stopping in San Deigo. But there's no way I'm going to Sacramento!

Re: Webkinz Road Trip 2011 is Just Around the Corner!

I don't like that details are still so scattered. I want to know if I should drive 3+ hours to the only confirmed tour date or wait to see if there is one closer. We NEED details!!!!

I'm sure it is the San Diego County fair at the Del Mar Racetrack! Yippee! It missed us last year!

Re: Webkinz Road Trip 2011 is Just Around the Corner!

For all the ones who went last year;
Do you guys know if there is an age limit to being able to play the games?

Re: Webkinz Road Trip 2011 is Just Around the Corner!

No age limits to the games! We were fortunate to go last year, and it was so great! Made me a supporter of Ganz.

My daughter, Dad and I all play Webbies and all three of us played and got prizes. I think Ganz was having more fun with the older players than they were with the kids.

What touched my heart was the genuine compassion and understanding. (This part may belong in the autism section.)

Mt daughter has PDD-NOS (a spectrum disorder). She has some social/anxiety issues. Well...she actually hopped on the stage, grabbed a mic and sang Hug-a Pug! I was so shocked that i started crying!!!!

When I explained my tears to the young guy from Ganz in charge of the area, he started crying. He praised mt daughter, hugged her and gave her a special code for a rare item.

Because of that compassion, and my daughter's smile, I would urge everyone to try and take in the tour!
