"Leap of Faith Flags" Mazes to be Removed on 3rd of February

webkinz cheatsThank you to Webkinz Insider member dragonbird for alerting us to a new notice in the Mazin' Hamster area.  As you can see from the picture on the left, the Leap of Faith Flags maze set is going to be removed from Webkinz World on the 3rd of February.

All of you Mazin' Hamster players out there who haven't had a chance to complete the nine mazes still have time to earn that trophy.  For more information on the Mazin' Hamster feature, including tips on how to complete many of the mazes, please visit the Webkinz Insider WIki.

Turns out, you CAN go up those tunnels...It is quite simple actually. . If you line your hamster facing the tunnel so he is facing the wall and go striaght (do not use your side arrows) up you will be able to go up the tunnel! NEATO! If you don't go up, realign yourself and start over.

Pico Boo shall demonstrate for you:

If you can't figure that out:

Here are my tips on the toughest ones from this maze set-the first time, before I took notes, I did them it took me over an hour for a few of these... (I was on a frenzy yesterday trying to get some trophies on all our accounts and kept notes for myself)

My advice on some of these mazes (only cuz I took notes as I did them the other day to help my other accoutns with them):

you CAN go upwards on those chutes. AFter different reports from different members told me you could (I'd tried long ago to no avail) I tried it again...
How to do it:

Line yourself up so your hamster is facing the wall just under the tube. Go STRAIGHT FORWARD do NOT use the arrows to either side, only go forward. If you don't strart traveling up realign yourself and try again. This is so easy once you get the hang of it, and makes these mazes much easier. If you can't figure this out try this stuff:

Back Tracks
17 minutes
Do NOT go up the yellow tubes with the elevators until you have gone down one more level and go up and the blue and red ramp!!!

Sheer Chutes
30 minutes
LET YOURSELF FALL! if the floor wants you to drop, don't worry about it. All those other tubes are just where you will wind up when you fall from above again...

The way up is in the Green...The all the way up one has a rainbow ramp next to it that goes up along side it. There are also two other up ramps with flags, don’t forget those.

Double Drop
About 5-7 minutes
this one was pretty easy

Velocity Virtigo (down down) (35 minutes to finish)
Pay attention to trapeze-finish that area then ski slope
Exit is in the Gazebo area-right next to that gazebo.

Re: "Leap of Faith Flags" Mazes to be Removed on 3rd of February

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't gotten this trophy yet, just need do one more maze set to get the trophy.

Re: "Leap of Faith Flags" Mazes to be Removed on 3rd of February

Thanks for the heads up and the tips. I still have 4 to finish in that set. The last time I was working on it I was nearly done with a maze when everything crashed. Hope it is more stable this time.

I wish they would have waited another couple of weeks to remove the maze set. We are going to be busy with Winterfest!

Thanks for the tips, dragonbird! rep point!!

Re: "Leap of Faith Flags" Mazes to be Removed on 3rd of February

Yeah the only one i have not done yet.

Re: "Leap of Faith Flags" Mazes to be Removed on 3rd of February

Thank you for the heads up!!! I hate this set as I find it boring having to go up the same way over and over to get back to the drops. I did do it for one daughter but still have a few in the others. I agree with the tips above. If you remember the best way to go back up, just keep repeating it. Work each section of the drops out--that way you do not get to where you need 1 or 2 flags and have to keep repeating areas. Always pay attention when you get good views of the maze to tell which you have done (blue) and which drops you have not (white). Good luck to all--definitely the most challenging/time consuming maze. Really too hard for most 5-10 year olds. Not so much due to the fact they cannot do it--more than they get bored with the repetition....

Re: "Leap of Faith Flags" Mazes to be Removed on 3rd of February

Good luck to all who are trying to win that trophy!

Re: "Leap of Faith Flags" Mazes to be Removed on 3rd of February

Ooh that is a tricky maze set. Thankfully though I already have the trophy. I try to make sure I get ever trophy as soon as they come out so that i don't fall behind.

I am actually sort of glad they are removing maze sets. That way there isn't a ton of them there. They are always adding new ones.

I hate when that happens.

Re: "Leap of Faith Flags" Mazes to be Removed on 3rd of February

Thanks, I have to do this on 2 more accts, I am surprised they would remove this one, its very hard and I would guess alot of kids would have trouble trying to finish it. It took me forever to figure out how to climb back up the tubes and I still have trouble with it.

Thank you so much for the tips! I have gotten lost on the easy ones in this set, but with this advice I think I will try some of the medium ones to see how I do.

Re: "Leap of Faith Flags" Mazes to be Removed on 3rd of February

Instead of going up the elevator all the time, I am not sure if you are aware that once you drop, you can actually go up on those tubes as well. Just hold your key for going up . You have to be directly below the tube, and it brings you on the higher level without having to go all the way up the long way. Your hamster actually walks upwards in the tubes.
I hope I make sense trying to explain this.

Re: "Leap of Faith Flags" Mazes to be Removed on 3rd of February

My tip for that one would be to go down one chute, then go up the next. (In case you didn't know, you can go straight up a vertical tube; just line yourself up exactly in the middle of where tube ends, then go up. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get the hang of it, but it does work.) Since the drops on those mazes tend to be clustered in groups of 4, go down one, up the next, down another, and up the 4th, then move on to the next set. It really saves a lot of time.

Re: "Leap of Faith Flags" Mazes to be Removed on 3rd of February

Why do they do this to me? D: I mean, do they honestly have to retire this stuff? Ahh man. I hate being rushed to do them like this. && didn't they just add this maze?

Re: "Leap of Faith Flags" Mazes to be Removed on 3rd of February

I too HATE this set. I think this might be the set that everyone HATES. I don't like that word, but seriously these are HORRIBLE!!!!

I have never been able to go upwards on one of those downwards shoots...yes, you can go striaght up on a vertical tube, but those shoots don't let you back up, least they don't let ME back up... can everyone else do this??

They do take forever... BUT the good thing with our little hamster buddies is that they don't log you out for inactivity...SO you can go get dd, rescue random children that couldnt' find their parents because whoever was in charge of the phone calls home telling parents to pick up their kids at one door didn't coordinate with the children as to which door they were gonna walk out of, deposit rescued children safely in their parent's arms, work on homework, cook dinner and then come back to realize your little Pico Boo is still waiting for you right where you left him, but now you have a clear head and can find that one last flag!

But I don't take this seriously or anything...

I've done the whole last maze of the Leap of Faith set that way. Most of the wallpaper patterns have some visual clues as to where the center is. Make sure that you are exactly in the middle of where the chute ends, and use the up arrow. I was able to do the maze in about 10 minutes, as opposed to half an hour or more when I did it the first time.

Re: "Leap of Faith Flags" Mazes to be Removed on 3rd of February

what I do when I play it...not sure I can describe this well...but you know how the tubes drop all the way down and then you got to go to another tube that drops all the way down...and to another that drops all the way down...etc...before you can find the right ones that take you all the way back up?

Then you have to repeat the process over and over again?

Well this is what I did...

ok when you go to drop down a tube just let your hamster fall. Dont touchy no keys!

Now upon hitting bottom turn your hamster to face the wall of the tube that it just fell down.

Press up arrow key. Your hamster should climb right back up the tube.

Proceed to next drop tube and do same thing...repeat until each tube is down.

on last tube fall down and dont climb...go through mark each area that has no drop.

and for the other drops...repeat process...fall, turn, climb up...until all are done.

cover each area and mark each hole whether there is a drop or not to make sure you have it all..

cover each section until it is fully done then move onto the next one...

I did that and I got it done in lot less time if I hadnt.
