Ganz Bids Farewell to Signature Endangered Species Line

Ganz announced earlier today on Webkinznewz.com that the Red Panda is the last of the Signature Endangered Speicies line. These Signature pets featured many rare and exotic animals, which are now available in Webkinz World. They also featured some exclusive items including a special room theme and unique wallpapers and flooring.

While these pets may still be purchased at your local webkinz store for the time being, it is unknown how much longer they will be available to everyone. WI's partner store Ameriwade also has an assortment of Signature, and Endangered Signature pets available HERE. Ameriwade features a $5 flat shipping fee to the US and Canada, and a portion of every online sale through Ameriwade goes towards supporting Webkinzinsider.com.

I wasn't this series biggest fan, but that's too bad. I don't think they were very popular. I should maybe try to get a couple...

I never had the opportunity to buy one of these great pets but hopeful the people who have them appreciate their unique features.

Aww!!! This was my favorite line of webkinz! But I guess now all the items will be worth more so that's a good side! Still sad to see them go though

I wonder why they are getting rid of them? Ganz couldn't have possibly ran out of ideas for the Signature Line, right? Sigh. That's too bad.

I really enjoyed the Sig. Endangered Pets! Well, at least I'm going to Hallmark later this week. I'll have to hopefully pick up a few.

. How is someone supposed to collect all the special signature exclusives? There are 14 Endangered Signature Exclusives and you get them randomly. I wish we could choose which exclusive we want when we adopt. I really dislike trading. There are only 10 regular and small signature exclusives and a lot more of these "regular" signature pets. I hope that the Endangered Signature Exclusives will be offered in the eStore or through different pet adoptions.

Such a shame... I loved that this line raised awareness to kiddos and others of animals that were endangered. Hate to see them go. I know there were plenty more animals they could have come up with and I loved the line personally, but I guess they weren't selling well enough.

I think it is because the Creative Director said in retrospect it was a mistake to offer those special outdoor walls/floors and that they wouldn't be doing it again.

I love those walls and floors and special adoption gifts and the pets themselves are quite nice - I have the tiger and the zebra. I hope they will re-release them later on.

I never bought any of them but I traded for some of the walls and floors, love those. Not sure why they would think making them was a mistake. They have charm forest wall/floors too that are outdoor designs.

I don't think the lines sold as well as they thought they would. I know the endangered ones never seemed to sell at the stores here.
