DAYLIGHT SAVINGS: It's time to "Fall Back"
(Image created by Paul Eggbert, Wikimedia Commons)
For most of our members, it's time for Daylight Savings to end. This means it's time for us to set our clocks back by one hour. As a result, many of us got to enjoy one hour extra of sleep this morning.
Whenever it's time to change our clocks, questions pop up in the forum from people who wonder how this change is going to affect Webkinz World. For those of you who are wondering, here's what you need to know:
- If you live in an area that changes the clocks for Daylight Savings, you will not notice any difference in Webkinz World. American KinzTime always matches the time in New York, and European and Asian KinzTime are based off of that.
- If you live in an area that does NOT change the clocks, you WILL notice a difference. Just like how the areas around you change their clocks, KinzTime will change too. This just means that you will need to adjust your math a little bit when figuring out what time to log on for certain Hourly Activities. Of course, this is probably something all of you are used to by now.
If you need help converting your time to KinzTime, please check out our Time Zone Chart.
NOTE: Today is also a great day to change the batteries in your smoke detectors!
